Well done on the ironing AnW'sMum. I am slowly getting through mine. Can't wait to see the bottom of the basket!

Have made an appointment for Friday to look around a pre school for DD2. For her to get her free place from January she would have to go from September but pay full price for the term. Not ideal when I work at night and don't need day care. Its a really good pre school so don't know what to do? Was thinking of trying to get a day job (part time) from January while DD2 was at nursery but maybe I could try to get something from September instead? Don't know what to do????

I hate making those types of decisions, but whichever you decide I'm sure will be the right one for you and DD.

Rosepink, hope you shift the CBA mood

I have decluttered lunch and S+Sdthe kitchen. Towels on the line got wet when I was in work, so will leave them out now it's stopped and hope for the best

today is not gpoing to plan!
Had a lovely walk to school/preschool/back this morning - it wasnt raining which was a bonus!
Then DH called to say did I want to go see his new offices. He is self employed and they work in a place called the Enterprise Hub which is a series of smallish rooms for tech startups. They have been there 4 years and are now in their 4th different room and this one is huge!!! They even have a separate meeting room. Feels like a proper office now and a proper company, its very exciting. So I went to see them so I didnt get the flying done that I'd planned.
Picked up DD1 from preschool and someone pointed out I have a screw in one of my tyres.
But had to go home to give girls lunch first.
Have just finished doing that and making kitchen not look like we've been burgled :rotfl:
Now have just over an hour before school pickup so now I have to go to garage and see if they can fix it and then go and pay balance of DS party.
Oh well best laid plans etc.

Oh yeah and feeling really agitated - I found a permission slip for DS to go for a trip to lcoal park with school to lok at equipment for some project. Meant to be handed in yesterday. I reeeally hope the trip wasn't today (it just said this week) or I will be one unpopular mother :cool:Wont find out til school this afternoon :cool:

And on another note we have had yet another financial problem, this time someone has hacked DH's credit card account and run up over a grand of transactions. The credit card company have been very good but we are still trying to get this mortgage sorted so we are hoping it wont in some crazy way affect that. We have just got 5 rogue addresses removed from DH's credit report - thats taken 7 weeks. He has just, last night, sent out to our (hopefully) new lender - wait for it - 9 YEARS of P60's, tax returns, company accounts, salary info. 9 YEARS!! Thats longer than we've been married! Its mad!!!

Right better get this tyre sorted.

    Hi Folks
Thankyou all so much for the good vibes!!! The exam was rather odd - the question was something to do with 'does punishment pass for discipline?' (but in french obviously) but I think I managed to bluff my way through it - will let you all know when I get the marks back, although it won't be for a while.

Read the article online about the car crash last night. It's horrible, there was a picture of the car and it was in bits about small enough to fit in a matchbox. So sad. My boyf wanted to go back to ireland for a few days, but he's decided against it, I'm trying to be strong for him.

Haven't got around to much flying today, took the bin out but thats about it, I've got a lecture at 4 but I'll zoom around after that. Going to do a bit more on my essay now.

Lots of love to everyone - cally just noticed your post under mine, I'd definitely warn the bank before prom dress shopping!!

    Hugs to all xxx

I've been in bed since my last post. I was trying to summon up some energy to do something and it wasn't working, then my tummy started to feel poorly (a sure sign I need to rest) so I went to bed. Still feeling really tired and achey and not well but can't really put my finger on what's wrong. I think I just need to veg a bit. Maybe it's just cos I was so busy at the weekend.

Will try to do something soon.

Hope you can cope with the kids and work until DH gets back Chunters, will be thinking of you
Glad to hear things are much better Jill. You have done really well

Hope your sciatica eases soon Mummyof5

Sorry Sammiell, I went back to bed and missed your message about an HHC! Thanks for thinking of me tho, we can do one another day!

Mumoffour, why does DD see a psychologist for her eczema? Is it stress-related?

    Mozzy, hope DS recovers quickly

Hugs Jill, I really hope they can sort out the credit card problems. People who steal never think of the problems they cause do they?

Carol, I’m sure you did great in your exam

    Afternoon all:D

    Blueberry pie and Rosepink
DD has atopic Eczema, Atopic Dermatitis and a thing called Icthyosis.....saying eczema doesnt do her condition any justice.....She is constantly scratching, until its red raw......she is showered every night and uses steroid creams then has a cream made up that consists of liquid parrafin 75% and soft white parrafin 25% she then has bandages called viscopaste wrapped around her then has tubifast garments that have been soaked in a parrafin emollient put on ontop of the bandages (which have an appearence of plaster of paris white creamy slimy stuff) then another set of tubifast garments that are to apparently keep clothes and bedcovers unstained......then her pjs.........now she cannot be too warm as this causes itchyness and she cant be too cold for obvious reasons!!!:D In the morning her wet wraps are sprayed with dermamist to keep them moist and her skin moist.......when she goes to the toilet she has to reapply all her steriod cream and emollients........she takes ages in the toilet in school as the teachers are (supposedly) not allowed to help.........She has also been referred to educational psychology to be statemented!! DD at times cannot walk or hold a pen!!

DD was refered to a psychologist to help her cope with her itchyiness.....also DD is under a lot of stress what withher Dads accident and her finding burgulars in our kitchen in August!!!
The Psychologist was fantastic....drawing a vicious circle for her showing in itch then a scratch making it more itchy then it bleeds then becomes infected and DD needs to go to the Dr to get antibiotics and stingy cream.......and so on and so fourth!
DD is also being subjected to a lot of unintentional bullying....kids will always be kids and when DD scratches in school and leaves flaky skin on the table she is sharing....well its not really fair to expect another child to just get on with it and pretend not to notice IYSWIM........school are great and the psychologist gave me some worksheets for the other kids and DD to complete....like word searches and circle time to describe what an itch feels like in a class discussion!! Also a story book for the teacher to read out in class:D So I brought it down to the school and they were delighted the teachers said it was a brilliant idea for the kids and for them!

    WM x a million
TD fixer man is coming out at 10am :D
my house is so dusty......(because of the builders knocking down the wall and lifting and kangoeing the floors!!!!!:()
    :jIm going to be frugal:j
    :DIm going to be frugal:D

Mumoffour, Glad the psychologist was so helpful, and gave you so many great resources to help DD and the other kids at school. Hopefully it will help her classmates to understand her condition.

DH is home now, he's going to make dinner, Toad in the Hole which I reallly really don't fancy but maybe I will like it.
    Going back to bed now

Its a beautiful day here in South Wales this morning. Sun is shining but a little cold. I have just finished my cleaning jobs for today and I am having a coffee and toast. Have to pop to morrisons to get a bit of shopping but after that think I might go sit in the conservatory with a book

Hi Sharon......you live near me! Where is Morrisons, I didnt know there was a Morrisons in Newport?

(I thought it was nice this morning too - hung two loads on the line then went to Cwmbran Shopping......you can guess what happened then....)
