Yes it seems strange and I could do it the easy way by contacting O2 and telling themwhich tarriff I want to go on but there's a reason why I'm asking.

I'm currently coming towards the end of my O2 online 200 contract. Already requested my PAC.

I want to get a Pay Monthly Simplicity- Sim Only 30 day rolling contract. The retention team have already offered to put me onto this contract if I want.

I want to order the sim via Quidco on the O2 website. get the cashback c£25. I'm also hoping to continue doing this, i.e get my PAC after 30 days then order another sim via Quidco.

So is it possible. Do i just order online and give them my PAC like I would if migrating from any other network?

You will need to change service provider if you wish to port and remain on the same network.

If your current O2 contract is direct with O2 then you will not be able to do what you trying to achieve.

The only workaround is to temporarily port to PAYG on [STRIKE]another network and then back again.[/STRIKE] another network or O2 PAYG and then back again

Yes, you can't port with a pac to the same network. It's called a backdoor upgrade and none of the networks allow it.
As above, you have to port your number to another network and then back, that is the only way.

You don't need to go to another network, you just go on o2 pay as you go. O2 have them all on different service providers so you just migrate.

Yes, I should have mentioned that. I have updated my post.

Perhaps not all the people replying have quite understood the OP, who intends to start and cancel a new contract very month, collecting Quidco cashbacks on the way.

I doubt this grand scheme would last.

Do a retentions deal on an ordinary contract, with a discount, and cash into the account for no new phone. This works out cheaper than Simplicity, and saves you having to mess about swapping network 24 times a year.

I agree Redux but if the OP wants dozens of credit searches on their account for the sake of £25 then its up to them.

Quidco and 02 dont like ports and they say it will invalidate any cashback that is if it tracks, im waiting to do a port from 02 payg but my quidco didnt track from my 02 order and ive put a claim in but its mentioned on HUKD and on the quidco thread about porting invalidating your quidco, not worth it for £25.
The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Agreed, this won't work and Quidco will close your acc with them for abuse.

Plus, the quidco on simplicity only validates after 3 months....
