Yes yes lucielle thats very funny.... i guess i'm never going to live that one down!!

Thank you for your kind words and support.

I have decided to revise my signature strip. Was getting depressing looking at all the individual debts so I decided to give a lump sum figure and my LBM figure. My god I had a lot of debt! I still do, but it's nice to see i've paid a chunk of it off. Will be nice to drop below £50,000 which is where i'm heading next month :j

My first born was in his nappy for about 48 hours as he hadn't pooped, so I thought he was ok. It wasn't until the midwife pointed out how 'spongy' it was and she thought he might need changing. I did get the hang of it.

I'm going to have to admit to a cardinal sin - I may have to use the cards this month :mad:

I've got four annoying direct debits coming to an end this month, amounting to £62. After that, they're gone and I won't have to pay them again. However, its going to eat into my petrol budget, so it looks like I'm using the cards for that.... I'm so annoyed!!

Sorry guys - not very DFW using your cards, but it is for an essential

Will try harder next month :A

    Hi talisker,

Is there anything you can sell on ebay, can you pull back any money from food spends maybe do the grocery challenge for a couple of weeks to find that £62.

Your doing so well and should be really proud and i hope everything goes well with the baby.

Only 6 days til due date, although we both a feeling we may go over..... hopefully not too far over!!

I'll have a look round the house for any 'e-bayable' (is that a word?!) items, see what I can find. I may have to accept a couple of months of no debtbusting until my promotion pay kicks in, which won't be till the start of September at least. Got a month off work coming up to look after the new arrival, so can't do any overtime. Next month's pay should be ok, but August's pay will not be pretty!

If I can accept two months with not a lot shifting off the cards I can make a proper go of it in September again. Not ideal, but the best i can do :o

Having a nice quiet day in today - making the most of it, cause thats the last I'll have for about 18 years!
