Not as far as I'm aware - uk manuals etc + we'd repair the phones regardless of where the stock was sourced from anyway

See if you can get your hands on a voda sim (payg) and try that, if it works then you could consider a voda contract. Either that or if you speak to customer services on the networks they can usually tell you if they are going to build a mast in your area anytime soon to provide coverage in the area.0 -

Yes but p4u is paying for the repair, not motorola, as would usually happen. And its pretty simple to get the manuals from the other v3's avalible..... I'm gonna shut it now cause I'm going on like way too bothered!

Thanks, I'll try that - vodaphone is about the only network myself or my wife haven't tried at this location.0

MrNick wrote:Hi (my first post but I’ve been receiving the weekly email since just after they started)
I signed up yesterday (through Carphone Warehouse) to the T-Mobile new Flexi tariff (with a period of ½ price line rental).
I got the phone home last night & found there is no T-Mobile coverage in my house (or immediate surrounding area)
I’m gutted as I’ve just checked the Carphone Warehouse documentation & their 14 exchange policy does not include T-mobile contracts.
I intend to speak to them this morning but does anyone have any advice on my rights or the best way to approach them on this? Could they be persuaded to change me to a different provider or do I have a right to cancel?
If so does anyone have any recommendations on similar packages from other providers?
Thanks, nick
I have to just ask.....are you sure its the network and not the phone? What I mean is I've been with 02 just over a year now. Originally I had a Samsung E330. I got no reception in my kitchen.....barely any in my lounge (unless I stood on the sofa with a leg in the air
) and could only talk on the phone if I was upstairs in the spare bedroom. Now though I'm still with 02 but have a Sony Ericsson W800i. I can call and text from any where in my house and the calls are crystal clear. Just a thought.....

Woby_Tide wrote:But no mobile contract guarantees coverage, I doubt any of the networks will back down over lack of signal as a reason to cancel
Of course coverage isn't guaranteed, but it doesn't change the fact that he actually can cancel the contract because T-mobile would prefer you didn't but will let you do it. They let you return contracts at T-mobile direct shops, you can return them at Phones 4 U shops, as well as the Link. He can return at CPW.0
