I'm a bit new to all this - I read at the start of this thread that you can go to those websites for the software download to unlock a Nokia 6230i, but when I went to them, to select the phone model, they only have the 6230 listed.

Can anyone help? Is it OK to just select the same option as the 6230?
And do i need to use another network SIM when I am entering the code (as i think it said that early in this thread).

Any help much appreciated - the phone is currently on Virgin, and I want to use it on O2.

the settings are the same as 6230 but you need a sim in that it wont work on to enter the code
make sure you selct virgin special code 23400001 or post your imei/make model here and someone will do the code for you
