Nope, that didn't work either. It wasn't my phone, so I don't know if someone's tried before, but I think it's unlikely - it's an ex-work mobile, so the previous owner would have no reason to try.

It's got no sim card in. I've turned the power on, it says "Insert SIM card". I've keyed in the codes I've tried exactly, and get the "Code error" message. I've got one try left. Any more ideas? Incidentally, I haven't tried the sim from another network - I don't have one - so I don't know for certain it's locked, I'm just assuming it is.

you didnt say what network its on?
if its virgin then try this

your not trying to put the spaces in are you?
and you can try the code with orange sim in or a different sim

I've got one try left with the first one - any ideas? (I wasn't putting the spaces in!)

Would your first choice be a code I've already tried, and does it matter that I didn't have a sim card in when I tried - (I did with the second one)?

that was the same settings as the one 1st one i gave you (which im certain is correct)

you could try it with the sim in but i think it should still work without sim
