you need to select virgin special code (23400001) the box serial you used (32811) wil prob work although i use asic 6 for this model which would give you these

Ok I'm no expert but I'll have a go at answering the question?! All I can say is that changed the settings and used the IMEI 358803005928168 posted in the example. The bad news is that until today no calculator I tried gave me the same unlock codes as Drahcir's unlock codes. Which have always worked for me! So I never tried the codes I'd generated.

But after reading your post I I knew which program to use, and with drahcir's comments I had a go, hit the same problem as you got around that and now I get the SAME numbers as drahcir for the same IMEI!

These are the settings I used.

1. Load program
2. Select Nokia
3. Enter IMEI (the extra digit appears as you type the last digit) so just type in the IMEI
4. Click Options, Enable "Expert mode",
5. Click "Back"
6. Select UK
7. Select Virgin - Special Code
8. Leave the big combo box that says Asic2 alone (the one under MMC+MNC) and click on the small combo box above the "C" button select Asic 6
9. Enter the IMEI, click calc

Do this first for an IMEI on this board that has had a sucessful unlock code for the Virgin Locked 1101. YOU SHOUOLD GET THE SAME NUMBER AS LISTED BY ONE OF THE EXPERTS HERE: Browntoa and Drahcir.

Only when you can generate the same codes as posted here to unlock phones that you know were unlocked with the published codes can you enter YOUR IMEI and press Calc.

Try the code carefully, any error just press the C key on the phone. YOU ONLY GET 5 Attempt, then you need a cable! If you fail after 2 attempts. STOP, and post the IMEI here.


On my screen the other fields were set to

Virgin- SPECIAL CODE
M?CC+MNC: 23400001
Asic 2
Custom 32881


You should get the same numbers as the example!

My output looks like this

Model: Nokia (1101 )
IMEI: 358803005928168
Network: 23400001

finally if you have an unlock you know is good click the "?" button (not the help button!) you will be promted for a 15 digit number

So using this as a known good unlock code :

enter the code stipping space and the +1 at the end

When you do this the program reports the settings:

Code: 247955064501063

Box Serial: 32821

To summarise. I'm no expert only unlock 3 phones by myself! But 2 of these were today using the example above for the Nokia 1101 on Virgin.

Leave the phone in the box AWAY from the computer
Get someone elses IMEI and unlock code.
Enter THEIR IMEI and change the settings as above.
Click Calc do you get the SAME unlock code? If not STOP and go back until yo do.
Once you have generated the SAME unlock code for someone else's phone, enter the IMEI for your phone. Type in the unlock. If this fails stop and ask for help.
