if it's O2 it may already be unlocked

Put the T-mobile Sim card in and if it asks for a restriction code then enter

if it accepts the sim then no need to enter the code

it means you have already used all you unlock code attempts -you usually get 5 tries but some newer models now get 3 tries
cable unlock only now
