I would love to get a Wii fit too, but that's another thing that will have to wait until we move to a bigger place and have more space! And more money. It's on the "when I'm rich" list!
I've got £4 to add to my pots today which is from my weekly tenner!
Well done Purplecatlover on counting up your money, you've got loads! And well done everyone else on adding to your pots!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

All of the banks in my area only accept 5 bags of change!!
I'm seriously annoyed because, it is a bank, it is their job to take money surely?
But yeah I think it's just to shorten queues or whatever so the cashiers aren't counting money constantly.
It just makes me visit about 5 or 6 branches in various towns when I'm trying to deposit money into my account...

but they weigh the bags to check they are correct so it doesnt involve any counting.....i had heard that or similar before though.0

Purple cat, I've updated your amount on the first post, well done that's a great amount!
Lesley, well done that's fab - is that the amount you are putting in the pot or the amount you are going to bank?
Zarzar, yes, lots of banks only take 5 bags at a time, but I can't really carry more than that anyway! Coins are surprisingly heavy! You can go back to the same branch again tho, just on another day or later in the day or something. Are you joining us in this challenge? Everyone: please feel free to shout at me if I miss you off the list or if I don't put the right amount next to your name. Completely brain dead at the moment, so might miss you or make a mistake. Also - can you please be clear when you post your figures if that is the amount going in to the pot, or the amount you are banking as I'm not always sure if you want me to put it on the first post or not. Thanks!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Hello everyone, how are you getting on this week? I had a little change from when I went to the Post Office earlier, but had to put it in my car parking change in the car, so couldn't add it to the pot. Ah well! I did find a huge stash of 10ps and 20 ps that DH had hidden, so have added that to my pot (with his permission) so there's probably a couple of quid in that lot. Yay!
How are you doing? Like to give us an update?"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Hi there
I would love to join your challenge please. I have loose change all over the place and if I save it up I can make a monthly payment with it all being well. I have 4p sat staring at me on my desk at work - I have no idea where it's from but it's on my desk :-)
Bonus.
Thanks
