Morning everyone,
Thank you so much for the good wishes - it means a lot to me!:T
I have had my wobbly moments but this could turn out to be a great thing in the long run. I might end up debt and almost mortgage free with a nice new home. But for now everything is up in the air so I'm just getting on with things as best I can.
I did repay my €2 so no raps on the knuckles needed this timeAnd I finally went into the bank with my change and lodged €60 against my loan. So that was a nice feeling. The balance is reducing slowly but surely!:j
So now my little jar is looking empty and sad - I will have to get to work on filling it again!
Hope you're all having a nice Saturday.Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

i am dertermined to this time focus the way i do it all coins that i collect are as follows
all £2
£1 (only with the 3 lions on)
2 x 50p a week
and all of 20p, 10p, 5p, 2p, 1p,
i put them in a glass jar from the first of the month and on the last day of the month count them up and transfer to the carlsberg jar, then put totals on a spreadsheet, so I know how much i had for each coin, how much has gone in and the grand total.
So at a given time I can tell you what I have in the carlsberg bottlesealed pot challange 5 member 1478 £0/£200

I've been doing this for a while, collecting all the 1, 2 and 5p pieces I get in my purse.
The only thing is that I have been collecting them in an unopenable money box which won't be opened until it is full. I therefore can't actually tell how much is in there!
When it's opened I plan on paying the total off my CC.
It's between a third and a half full. It has taken several months to get to this point.
I wonder how much is in there? Please call me 'Pickle'
