    Hello Hello Hello Hello Hello!!

I have been missing in action for some time.......but am still here!!! I see a few more familiar faces have come to play too!

    And Guesty!!

I have still been saving pennies here and there whenever I find them, but am still mostly using my debit cards for shopping etc - so never actually seem to have any cash to put in!

Around the same time I started this though, I also started a Sealed Tin for christmas, but I then started doing this online so that it came straight off my wages into a savings account by DD and as I hadnt seen the money I couldnt miss it.

So Im going to transfer what was the start of my sealed pot to my loose change pot and see what I have.

I found 2p when I was digging up the garden the other day and will add that as well as the 19p I have in my purse.

I havent had a total count up yet, but will wait and see and hopefully have something decent (i.e. over £10) which I can pay to a card of some description!!!!!!!!!

You are all doing really well!! x x

    £10.58, wahey!

Except there are some pound coins in there and I dont remember putting them in. And I am sure the total has leapt up over the last week. So either there is a penny fairy in my house or OH has been putting something in.

Kinda feel like I have cheated a bit. But never mind, will take it to the bank and pay it off the Halifax card on Tuesday!

its not cheating at all, we all steal money from our families :) of course they know about it :D but something that isnt much to them will slowly build up to us. :) well done on your savings, keep it up!!

    Ok,

    Count so far is......

    £ 2.11 in 1p
    £ 2.52 in 2p
    £ 5.70 in 5p
    £ 4.10 in 10p
    £ 3.00 in 20p
    £ 2.00 in 50p
£ 1.00 in £1 coins.... so a grand total of.....

    £20.43!!!!

Im really really shocked that its that much.....you always think of loose change as a couple of quid at the most.......I thought, looking at what i had, Id be lucky to have a tenner!!!!!

I also have 12cents in Euros and 2 american cents.....
