I read somewhere that if we gathered the entire population of the world into one place, we would completely cover the Isle of Wight (or was it the Isle of Man)?

I'm not sure how that is relevent to anything, but I couldn't think of anything else to say and so I said that.

GSK upto 1060 but I'm expecting much more from them whether this flu goes big or not.... they were undervalued IMO. I'd targetted over 1100..... perhaps 1200 with this flu?

    It's a fun game!

I'm not sure what people have done to deserve the Isle of Wight. Or French people.
I thought I'd take advantage of press-generated hysteria to introduce a bit more pognophobia. I'm angling for a job as home secretary.
"Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.
"I think I'll become an alcoholic," said Betty.

I've just had a look at the BBC website for the first time today and it's absolutely full of swine flu on both the front pages and in the business section. Why does the BBC feel it has to whip up such hysteria on the back of 80odd global deaths?

    Fear or hatred of beards?

Beware, I'll be doing Movember this spring.

Perfect excuse to not book a holiday!

Imagine the bliss of coming back from Mexico with a little sniffle and being told to stay home. Good way of not having to go back to work with jet lag.

Takes the pressure off bad stories about the Government ... if they really hype this up everyone might just forget the budget ;).

Those 2 Scottish cases are now confirmed as swine flu.

Practice being a deadly pandemic bug here

I say shut down all the ports & airports; round up anyone swarthy or with a beard & export them to the Isle of Wight or France; then shoot or, skipping a stage, just burn anyone who sneezes (unless they are watching naughty films at the time).

That'll sort it out in no time.

How come, no matter how hard I try, I cannot wipe out the entire population of the world??

    :o
