Spud - did you google last years results to get ideas of what timescales people are coming in at........

the run i did on saturday was poles apart from the one i did two weeks ago... 2 weeks ago was a local first time for a race, hence i was last, well there were only 140 runners! Whereas yesterday i was running at a similar pace, and there were at least 80-90 people finished after me. As Hypno says there are all kinds of everyone in a field of 10,000 people (guessing the number, but i know it's bleeding loads!!!) so no way on god earth will you be last, there will be tons of people walking of all ages, abilities and so on... plus 8 weeks is minus 2 stone on your CD plan!!!!

I tried, but couldnt find the results

I guess it's just the first time I've ever even thought about doing summat like this, so I'm bound to be terrified ehh. You'll all have a tough job to calm me nerves on the Saturday night/Sunday morning

    Why you :o SPud?

Because I'm missing the bigger picture Beanie. Worrying too much about me, rather than being excited about taking part and hopefully raising a bit for charity (not that I have any family to sponsor me ) Oh no, summink else to worry about
