Maz you're bound to fluctuate, don't worry about it!
You're doing all the right things.
Try changing your workout routine, sometimes a change can help because the body adjusts to one routine.
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

aaaaaawwww BB - imagine telling your OH about me. That's mental!!
Re the CD or leeds challenge... you know we'd support you in either. But to be honest, you are so determined that who's to say you wouldn't succeed at either or both!!!! with your back/leg trouble i'd be inclined to think CD would do less damage.... once CD'ed you could do the Leeds thing next year, if we make a regular thing of it!!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

We was really impressed I have to say Maz.
To be honest, I just couldn't do CD. The only way I could do it would be if I were locked in a padded cell where I could bounce off the walls. Addicted to food? Moi??
I think I could do a 5k if I walked it, with a bit of training.
I was going to sign up for the Poole Race for Life in June so I could support Spud in her 10k training as I would be as scared doing 5k as she is 10k but I am too scared to register . I've even looked at the aerial map of the route and it's around Poole Park and the waters edge, but I still can't bring myself to do it
I know I can do 3.9k from the holiday walk I mapped but I did suffer back/leg wise and my leg started to get very 'tired' where my foot drops a bit. I know losing weight would help the situation but it's somehow getting out of the cycle of start a diet, lose a stone, plateau, give up, say sod it, eat like a pig, feel ill, start a diet. I recognise exactly where I am at any stage in the cycle and I'm currently at the eat like a pig and moving into the feel ill stage. I have developed a real chocolate fetish at the moment and I've had it for the last 2-3 weeks and I don't know why I really crave so much chocolate these days"Stay Wonky":D

You lot are amazing - I didn't even know my finish time properly until I came on here (forgot my watch - d'oh!!)
I had a fab day - I can't believe how close Sally and I were in time!! It would have been good to run together but we were on different starts.....
It was incredibly hot, but the crowds were just fantastic and really kept me going!
DD has just run me a hot bath - so off for a much needed soak!
I overtook Katie Price and Peter Andre at 8.5 miles......and thankfully stayed well ahead of them after that :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
