Ah excellent timing for my cooking question BB

if you can wait to use it, cool it and use for egg fried rice tomorrow :D If you use it to make egg fried rice tonight, it will be ok but might be a bit stodgy because the starches are too active at the moment.

Snags, whoops, I've just had a shower and re-read my post. Sorry, I feel I let rip a bit, it was just the fact he is now using his son as part of the situation and it lit lots of big red lights in my head, we as adults can make good or bade decisions to our hearts content, but the minute he starts saying that his son likes someone else and is using those words as a weapon, then that's passed a big line in the sand to me. Sorry :o

I had a flash of inspiration and rustled up a quick risotto by adding some chopped chicken, frozen peas & sweetcorn and a tin of Baxters chicken broth :T
    Tis simmering happily now.

Must try that coronation chicken sometime though, it's one of my favourites.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Maz,you have had a couple of these 'blips' but you have also been running loads more lately, I dare say it's a bit of muscle you've gained. Don't worry, it will show up next week. Or rather, show off next week?

I completely concur re. Dave the !!!!!! heed.

    mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......... coronation chicken.

Maz - I was telling my OH about you this morning and how amazing you are with learning to swim and then doing the running and your fabulous results on CD. He was really gobsmacked and thought it was brilliant, and so should you. You're probably getting to the point where your body is starting to build muscle - cos there ain't no fat to burn :D

Oh, and he also said I should do the 10k Leeds run as a 'challenge' and maybe I should do CD.

I said I would do CD if he were willing for me to verbally rip chunks out of him because of my not being able to eat food and that I'd be crawling the walls. I think he changed his mind :rotfl:
