I would run at a comfortable pace Spud, not try to push for more speed. Increase the time if you can, or maybe run as long as you can and then walk for a bit?

Edit - Ohh I'm so sloooow :rotfl:

    Do whatever feels comfortable Spud.

I have to have music with a beat that's exactly in time with my feet when I'm running.
    ...Linda xx

My feet dont seem to have any rhythym Linda

I agree music gets me through, I'd get bored otherwise. The problems occur when I forget what I'm doing, and try to have a bop  :D
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

I knew Dave would be cruel - I didn't think he would be quite SO spectacularly and casually cruel though. I don't want my kids exposed to someone like him. And that's what will keep me away this time.

Snags, snags, snags............:( The cycle you go through with Dave has turned back to this stage again and yet again, the cycle of events since you were at this stage last time has decreased in time since it last happened as it did the time before, each turn of the cycle increases in speed.

PLEASE, next time you start to feel you can be 'just friends' re-read this part of your quote. And then read it again. I know now you will be saying you can't be friends etc, but we both know you've said that before. It's about how he using children as pawns now as part of his 'mind games' (which to be honest, he isn't that good at - he just thinks that what mind games are about in a relationship which has this dynamic built into it). Using the children in this way isn't on.

What he's doing to you is NOT thrilling and it's NOT exciting and it's NOT mind blowing. It's downright nasty and he KNOWS what he is doing. It's NOT part of his shed headedness, it is pre-meditated and the chances are he's done it over and over and over again through the years.

(and you know that I love you my lovely friend which is why I'm saying this :o)

erm, anyway, sermon over.......I'll just shuffle off again :o:o:o

Ok, cooking question, I've cooked some brown rice but what the heck should I do with it?
I have some cooked chicken and salady stuff.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

BB - he came online earlier to 'give me chance to apologise', because he is 'feeling rather peed off with me'.

Apparently I have blown it out of all proportion and over-reacted.

He said 'If you had been willing to listen instead of p*ssing off, you might have learned something today'

I said 'I did - I learned I never want to expose myself or my children to your casual cruelty ever again'

I don't think he was happy... :rotfl:
