To be honest Linda yours is about 100000000 times nicer than ours so I would be chuffed with it just as it is:o:confused:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0

The grass is a nightmare to cut though, it takes ages.
Next to our elderly neighbour who's garden looks like Kew it's a dump.
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Morning Spudlett, dont stand sideways mind we wont be able to see you soon at this rate:D
Hows it going? I need to do something as I put the same jeans on that I was wearing in Manchester and I couldnt fasten them this morning:o
I know exactly what it is though.........lazy takeaways:o:o they are really bad for you/fattening and cost a fortune but when you are knackered and cant be arsed to cook then its so easy.
Need to be better organised I think. Off to Asda today so I will try and get some easy things to cook when I am teaching on a night, cause these are the danger days. And the weekend too.
God I am a crap wife.
I'm a LONG way off disappearing Lou
Takeaways were our downfall too hun, we were getting really bad. i'm sure they're addictive :rolleyes:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I'm sure they are addictive too spud, one thing cambridge has done for me is break my addictions. I think the chinese we go to has gone out of business now.:rotfl:
I am glad you spent some of the money from the jewellery on something for you spudlicious! I am quite jealous actually. I wanted to go for a run today and it was pouring down. Now i have had a bath its glorious outside...and I know I should not be a wimp and run in the rain but really!!!!
It was times like this morning that I would have loved to have a treadmill. I know you weren't keen on running outside and this could be a good start for you.
I read in running for fitness yesterday though that walking 10k burns as many calories as running 10k but obviously you do it in less time when you are running......so walk/run who cares if it has the same effect!:DQuality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

I would do decking where the patio is now Linda with gravel round the edges and lots of big plants in pots so it looks like a spanish type thingy.....
and I would get a bin shed...Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Linda I love your garden. What's wrong with it
It's just 'unkept'
Things just grow and it gets a bit wild.
The kids love it because they can just run riot and play, it's a huge garden - one of the reasons that attracted us to the house in the first place!- so they can set up a big paddling pool and do running jumps into it.
We do get lots of hedgehogs and squirrels which is very cute and the little wall at the back of the patio is home to a family of little mice which we've been feeding and watching (as have the cats)
I'd just like it nicer to sit out in.

Yes we do need to hide the bins.
The path that runs round behind the garage has got filled in with muck & rubbish so if we dig it out the bins can go round there.
We are planning to extend the house out at the back in the next 3 years too.
