I don't know what to say. They are so mean. What despicable lowlifes.

Cannot think of any comforting words as I feel so angry about how they help themselves and disregard your right to peace of mind.

Thanks folks - I know its no big deal, but I am a little angry, hacked off and fed up about the whole issue!! I hate the mentality of 'Ill have that' or 'Ill trash that' and I cant really understand it either. It makes life so much more of a struggle than it needs to be.

it's the time and money you've spent on the plants that makes it so annoying isn't it? fancy coming back the cheeky !!!!!!!! It really annoys me that some folks can't be bothered to put effort into things but think it's fine to trash other peoples hard work.
Chin up, did you ask if anyone had any spare plants of Freecycle?

Really feel for you OP. I would be both raging mad and really upset. It's bad enough that us gardeners have slugs, blight, weevils and a hundred other pests and diseases to deal with without thieves and vandals adding to our problems.

That is terrible. Coming back again. Did you have the CCTV camera on? or had you not fixed it up yet? I was just wonering if you got any evidence this time. I can see why you wouldn't want to bother any more. Very sorry to hear of your troubles.

You have every right to be angry, I hate thieving low life scum who want everything for free

If they do some hard work and raise there own plants and yes you can do it in a backyard they too can have a wonderful cheap garden/patio etc without thieving someone's else's hard work

If you managed to get any video of them i'd get a still of their faces and post it all over town. i know i will probably get stick for this but that's what i would do. just don't get caught lol

I'm sad to hear of your misfortune, there are some really nasty and petty people out there. I have a few strawberry plants if you'd like them, I'd have to post them bare root though, and some rhubarb seedlings.

A few years ago I hung baskets of fuschias all over the front of my house. They were in full bloom and every one of them was stolen:mad:

I think these thieves are slugs, blight & weevils - but maybe that is an insult to slugs, blights & weevils :rolleyes:

I wonder if they know that it's an elderly man's house (local to him??) & that's why it's been targetted twice now.

FC, I hope you do have enough evidence to identify them & good luck with starting again, don't give up.
