  • BigKisses how did you get through to Parcel Farce ? The line is always engaged. No matter I phoned Parcel2Go. The 0800 413 501 is always engaged !!!

I was literally redialiing for over 40 minutes from 8am.

Well..... I gave up on that number, saw that to send my parcel 48 hours on the Parcel force webby would cost £13.25 with a £1.50 Xmas online discount making it £11.75.Dearer than £9.99 but worth it to save my Ebay feedback ;) Thought I would ring and check if they collect ti same day on web bookings and when I got through on their regular number I asked if th eEbay special was still on,he asked had I tried th e 0800 number I said I'd waited 45 minutes to get through then waited naother 10+ minutes and got cut off soooo...he took the details and booked the deleivery for £9.99.The number I got through on was 0870 8501150 .It's not a free phone number like the other one but at least you get through ;)
  • You can get |Parcelforce 48 through https://www.senditquick.com at £9.99. Can pay with Paypal or Nochex or Parcel2go- if you go through greasypalm there's a 10% discount using the code "greasy" bringing it to £9.51 inc VAT and you get 75p cashback on top
Always on the hunt for a bargain!!!!

If you have a branch of Staples nearby they do a delivery service (through Securicor Omega) for £8 - this is supposed to be next day but is sometimes more like 3 days. The weight limit used to be whatever you could lift onto the counter but I have heard it's now restricted to somewhere around 25-30kg, anything over that will incur a surcharge. I think they may also have introduced limits on dimensions.

There are loads of horror story's about Parcels2go, they messed me around also, I would never use Parcels2go ever again...........be warned
  • hi all

if you're quick you can still get pick up today through parcels2go? They will pick up same day with orders placed through the website up until around 11am.

Go through greasy palm and you get 75p cash back - Use "GREASY" as your promotional code and you'll get 10% off their £8.99 delievry price - up to 30kg. Next day delivery would then be £9.51 inc VAT with a 75p cashback from greasy palm to come.

Not guaranteed next day delivery but I've never had a problem with them - hope this helps?

    cheers

Okay, it's now 5.40pm and nobody from Parcel2Go has collected my packages or phoned to say they can't make it.

Based on this performance I think the guidance on eBay forum posted above is probably correct. Tomorrow I will request a refund and try again with an alternative courrier :)

***Information for Sellers: Parcelforce Worldwide Promotion***
Date: 14/12/04 Time: 06:43:09 PM GMT

There has been a massive response to the exclusive eBay guaranteed delivery offer made by Parcelforce Worldwide to sellers when sending sold items. Consequently, this huge demand has led to some sellers experiencing delays when trying to get through to Parcelforce Worldwide to place an order.
Parcelforce Worldwide apologises for the inconvenience caused and is working hard to make additional resource available to meet demand. Orders that have already been placed are unaffected.

Sellers are best advised to communicate with their buyers to explain possible delays.

Now the fun will start, get ready for a long wait on hold and then being disconnected.

I had to contact my credit card company and put the payment into dispute to get my money back from Parcels2go.
