Morning! I don't know, I go away for a few hours last night and NIM gets all Jigsaw-y on us! Am I allowed to give away the result of the game? Well done!
Last night OH and I confirmed that we are officially insane, which is nice! Most nights we usually have a scuffle in bed (nothing naughty, just annoying each other and trying to get the last touch!), last night it went too far and we had a headbutt fight! We had to stop eventually because we both had brain ache and were laughing so hard we couldn't breathe! What kind of loonies have a headbutt fight?! I think we need help...
I realised last night that I can't do my McDonalds mystery shop as I'm going out with a friend for tea! Darn it! I might be able to take OH early and just get food for him, if he's back from seeing Star Trek early enough!

Morning everyone. NIM you are very cryptic and I don't understand ... is Birdie right that you got the job? What's Jigsaw?

Ugh, having a horrible day, woke up with a coldsore, then the cats managed to poo on the outside of their litter tray so cleaning that up made me late, then there was a huge seagull dump on my car windscreen which I had to clean off by hand because my washer things aren't working  I guess that's yesterday's good luck over with! :(

ETA- a rugby playing trekkie Birdie?! Must be a first!!

I think you and your OH sound really cute Birdie, admittedly a bit damaged but still cute!

Yep Birdie's right, he got the job! No more late nights, weekend working, and a bit more money to boot! Think the excitement made him a bit mental last night.

I think Jigsaw is some kind of band? At any rate NIM showed me a terrifying youtube video.

Can you not move the MS to another day Birdie?

Yay! Congratulations NIM!! When do you start? So it's office hours now is it? Ah that'll make such a difference you'll be able to spend loads more time together it'll be lovely. Bit more time in Billo for NIM though bless him! So are you going to give up the farm work? And can you please point out the hidden code?

Highlight his post with your mouse Tete, all will be revealed.

Yep, he'll be giving up the farm (my bet is on him getting thrown off the farm when NIM looses it and tells the farmer to shove it after he called NIM a slacker at the weekend!).

Yep 8.30-5pm weekdays he'll be on, supposed to start on the 18th although he's in Ireland two days that week so not a logical start week! Will be great seeing more of him and being able to go for weekends away/have days out/have date nights again!

Should ease up the money pressure too. Provided we can make the £20 a day challenge each month we will be on target for the house deposit too!

Ah I see, is that the technological version of invisible ink? I was being much more thoughtful about it and looking for a hidden code in the text a la Da Vinci Code! Too clever for my own good sometimes :D

Ah it's brill news, really pleased for you. I think I've said it before, I never understand people who complain about 9-5 - if you and your partner are both doing 9-5 it's the best :D Or a close second to both being so rich you don't have to work at all.

Speaking of which, off to do a bit of maths and a lot of data entry ...

9-5 beats shift work I think just because you can plan things in advance.

Aye you're a smart one alright. He came in looking all sad and said 'I need hugs' and I thought 'I bet he4's doing what my dad does' and sure enough after about a minuite of hugs he sort of broke into a big grin and said 'so, I got the job'. Cheeky beggar!

Have found a hotel at Dublin airport for e29 next time we're over. He told me if I could get something under £50 to just book it, so I think I will as if we have to travel over from Limmerick on the Monday morning we'll have to be up at about 5am to get the 6am train! 30 euros for a stress free morning? In the words of mastercard - Priceless.

Oh no, I've just thought though, what does the unsuccessful long-standing employee make of it? Poor bloke!

Hotel sounds good, and Dublin airport's so lovely :D

That's really good news for NIM, I love working 'normal' hours, free evenings and weekends, brill! Although they won't be 'free' for him as I'm sure there'll be some brilliant money making plans for him!
Tete, my OH really is one of a kind, total sport mad rugby boy by day, sci-fi geek by night! He used to live with another trekkie and they drove me mad! I haven't even seen 'The Wrath of Kahn' yet I know all of the 'best' references from it as they used to recreate their favourite scenes! So sad! He's seen the new Star Trek Barbies and has said that I'm 'allowed' to buy them, not because he wants them of course... I think his idea of heaven would be the Star Trek Convention, but I don't think I love him that much!
The hotel in Ireland sounds like a great idea and a good deal Dinah!
