    OK here goes:
[STRIKE]1. Sort internet banking for ISA
    2. Photograph and list items on Turbolister ready to be listed on Thursday [/STRIKE]Two items have bids, and lots of watchers on most of the others!
[STRIKE]3. Finally sort out recycling two mobiles [/STRIKE]One done, waiting til that's a success before sending the other one off
    4. Finish and post the nine Dooyoo reviews I’ve been half working on forever - OK only managed one, this will be on next week's!
[STRIKE]5. Have a proper look at Poolie’s spreadsheet and car figures[/STRIKE] – Decided once and for all to 'scrap' the scrappage idea - I'd rather have the money spare to spend on holidays!
    [STRIKE]6. Sort Mount Paperwork[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]7. Find library book on Photoshop so I can play with my new software[/STRIKE] - Gave up and downloaded something instead
    [STRIKE]8. Father’s Day present[/STRIKE]
    9. Find cheapest travel insurance - Found but may need to wait til payday to purchase...
    [STRIKE]10.Gym at least twice and restart 200 sit-ups thing[/STRIKE]

Evening all, frustrating day (first attempt at blueberry muffins a total flop, unable to agree on holiday locations, general pre-menstrual-ness) has become less so. Finally managed to get our hols booked, going to Santa Eulalia in Ibiza on 11th July so really excited about that. Lara did you ever decide what you're doing with your unexpected hoiday?

Also a deal to NY has come up which needs much consideration and may mean me dipping into my OD for a couple of months :o, which was the final thing which made me think that although I can afford a new car, I don't really want to and would rather spend the money on travel! So Poolie, thank you so much for all your help and advice but I'm going to put my faith in the Blue Bullet for a while longer. How's the Teddy situation in the house?!

Don't think I did too badly with my list in the end apart from dooyoo, going to make another for this week I think. How's everyone else doing? Dinah a relaxed church sounds just the ticket! Hopefully it will grow on NIM. OK I'm going to have to go to bed, my brain feels somewhat addled!!

Thanks for the link Zig! I've saved the lemon cupcake recipe to print off later. Really nervy excited for the stall this weekend, hoping this cold clears off. All coughy and sniffly today, and my voice is going which will be a blessing for OH but when I'm ringing people up today I'm going to sound like a stalker. All croaky talking and heavy breathing.

Tete - Well done with your list! Is it adobe photoshop you have? They have loads of tutorials online so you don't really need to get a book, thats where I learnt all my skillz. Plus you can just find what you want to do, rather than having to go through all the formalities of the books.

Waiting for OH to get his bum to the office, spent what felt like ages baking last night. He's a bit put out with work atm, they keep on flipping his shifts and sending him all over the place, so I've decided that baked treats help! Made him a big packed lunch too, complete with monster sandwiches and chocolate mousse. Suppose I best go find some work to do, have a nice Monday everyone!

    Morning!

I can't believe it's Monday already! I'm just trying to get back into the swing of normal working hours and fewer late nights...

Cinny, what a sweetie you are! My OH has got lots of leftovers for lunch, luckily he's a big fan of sausage sandwiches :) I hope your sniffles go soon too - have you planned what you're going to make for the stall yet?

Sorry about your muffins, Tete! I made quiche for the first time on Saturday and it was a mess! Loads of the filling leaked out making a slidey puddle on the kitchen floor and then inside the oven making a big omelette on the bottom of the oven! I'm not sure what happened as I baked the pastry blind first, but I did use a loose-bottomed tin... It tasted good actually although the filling only came halfway up the sides in the end. Oops.

I was a bit gutted! Did I mention that some of the filling got between the pastry and the tin to create a battered quiche effect? :o It was for a barbecue we had for a friend's birthday - everything else went well though :D And we got swingball which was a big hit (sorry) and now everybody's got Wimbledon fever!

Hope everyone has a good week!

I got smacked in the eye with a swingball once and it's out me off ever since! I think you need a proper quiche dish Poddle!! Glad I'm not the only Domestic Mess though. I just don't understand how it can go wrong when you're only following a recipe! When do you start your job again?

Cinny aren't you lovely making a packed lunch for OH. My Dad's work are a bit like that with him, really irregular hours and being asked to work at the last minute, must be a nightmare.

I was making loads of mental lists of things to do this morning on the way in but I can't remember half the things now... hmm...

Hmm, 'tis a bit violent when the boys (ie. grown men) get on it! They wanted proper tennis racquets as the plastic bats weren't good enough - somehow I don't think the £12 children's swingball from Argos would have coped!

It was a proper quiche dish :( maybe it was just holey pastry?! I felt like a fraud - people kept saying how lovely the food was when the deformed quiche was stuffed in a cupboard in the kitchen :D OH is enjoying it though...

I start work on July 6th, so I've got lists of stuff I need/want to do before then. Must remember to keep a notebook by my bed - I keep remembering things I have to do just before I'm about to go to sleep but they're gone when I wake up, so I know exactly how you feel!

ETA: Fab news that you've booked your Ibiza hol - Santa Eulalia is where you wanted to go, isn't it? And it's not long away! AND fingers crossed for NYC!

Morning! Monday always comes too soon, I had a little moment of confusion this morning at about 6am as I thought it was Sunday again then the depressing fact that it is Monday hit so I went back to sleep!
Good news about the house Wendz, hope your Dad gives it the nod!
I'm glad you've found a good church Dinah, hopefully NIM will like it too after trying it again!
Sorry to hear you're all sniffly coughy Cinny, fingers crossed you'll make a quick recovery!
I got up on Saturday morning to find a pink flower planted in a coffee cup on the counter, OH had been out and liberated it for me from the plant pots outside the townhall and brought it home, soil and all, to 'surprise' me! I suppose I should stop saying he never gets me flowers!
I got my golf clothes on Saturday, a red skirt (with clever shorty-style lining so you don't flash your knickers when you bend over!), a white Pringle polo shirt (gotta have some Pringle and this was cheaper than the jumper I was eying up!) and a navy jumper; I got it all from TK Maxx as none of the sports shops cater for ladies golf annoyingly. I feel very preppy in my gear, I want a visor to complete the ensemble!
Did everyone spoil their Dad yesterday? I took mine to the Thackray Medical Museum in Leeds and it was very good, he really enjoyed it bless him!

Oh sorry, with you saying it had a loose bottom I thought it might have been a cake tin! I meant like a solid pyrex one - would at least prevent the oven-omelette situation!! At least it's tasty though!

Yeah I bet you've got loads to do, been thinking you've got all the time in the world then suddenly you start work in two weeks!

Yes SE is where we wanted, made the mistake of looking on the travel agent's site again this morning and there are some lovely looking 4* places for about £20 more than we paid for our 'quaint accomodation' :o - never mind though eh, I do like things quaint!

ETA - I bet you look the biz in that getup Birdie! I can see you in a visor definitely!

At the moment it's Vanilla Cupcakes, Brownies and Blondies, and Victoria Sponge. I need to find some of those food bags that are paper on one side and clear on the other. Any ideas?!

Sorry about the quiche Poddle! I'm useless at proper cooking, which is why I stay in the land of cupcakes and biscuits. At least it tasted nice!

Tete - I made a massive mental to do list on the way to work too, got here and could only remember a few! OHs hours are really weird, like today he's working 8:55 - 5:05. I agree though, must be so annoying!

ETA: Glad your Dad enjoyed himself Birdie! That sounds so sweet of your OH though. The golfing clothes don't sound too shocking, although I'm upset you didn't go all out with the swirly printed capris, sweater vests and golf buggy earrings!

Unfortunately I didn't have much choice with the golf gear, I had originally picked out a lovely pink and green outfit (with matching Pringle jumper) but the snaps on the skirt were broken so I had to change the colour scheme! Stupid TK Maxx!
And don't go saying how sweet my OH is too soon; I should have mentioned that he'd been rather drunk when he picked the flower for me! But he can't have been that drunk because he remembered to water it before going to bed!
I'm glad you've got your holiday booked Tete! I don't think we're going away next week; we decided that it *may* make more sense to stay at home and spend about £200 on days out rather than spend £200 each on a holiday and another £200-£300 while we're away.

    Morning everyone,

That is sweet if you Cinny to make OH packed lunch. I normally make mine one but he is off this week before he starts the police next week. he has gone home today (to southampton) for a few days so will be quiet for me!

Poddle - sorry to hear about the quiche, i want to make one but sounds a buit tricky!

Tete - how exciting about booking the holiday, Ibiza is really nice. When are you going?

Birdie - the golf gear sounds good!

Just had to ring estate agents as we can't really see the house again yet. Hoping ti doesn't go off the market but sure we will find another if it does. IT has been on a few weeks and already reduced slightly. Totally forgot to ask if we can have teh HIP e-mailed over, might ring again at lunch.
