Hey guys, im just checking in :)
I've had a really bad day today and the next two dont look too happy as i have some high pressure presentation to make up and do and a report which half my class failed to get back :(
You guys sound ok though and NIM, thats a well low bmi!! I think mine is deffo higher than that! And my bf is pushing 30!! (hes not really a fatty, just has rugby muscle legs which I think does offset the calculator thing!)
On another note.... its nearly my birthday!!!! :j

Birdie, I would love to know more about this excel course by the way, do you still have a copy / link to it? please let me know!

Oooh, you're talking my language! Actually, I found a SUPER excel course online that I printed off for the girls in the office (so they'd stop deleting my formulas! LOL!), it's American but if you ignore the stupid American spelling it is very good IMO. It is called gcf learnfree (you have to register but it doesn't charge you) just select which version of excel you use and get learning. The learning 'task' is actually creating your household budget so you can build the bones and play with it when you're done!

I'll check back in later girlies and NIM lol

Oh pish, you love us for it really! :D

Just made a mountain of american pancakes, covered in whipped cream and strawberries. Half way though and feel sickly so I best quit while I'm ahead! Going into town this morning on the pashley, we're on a top important mission to buy erm, milk and a microwave. Don't know how I'll managed to microwave on the way home though.

Tete, the bones of his gesture were nice but minding your own business in a post office then hearing a thick yorkshire accent warbling along behind a newspaper is quite worrying!

NIM, you're not meant to want to be thin, you're meant to want to get all scarily big and shiney like a human teacake.

Tinkerbel - You're one of the ladies I used to pester on my old thread, I knew your name was familar! Hello again!

I'm 22 with a fat age of 22 and saturated fat age of 23, bmi is 22.8 but you lot dont care cause i'm a man b@5t@rd who doesnt get the whole needing to be thin thing...so...erm...I'll just go then shall I?

    I didn't think men had BMIs :confused::D

Good luck with your presentation and report Tinkerbel, at least you can have a well-deserved vino on Friday night!

Not a lot to say this end really, just popping in to say 'Morning!'

ETA - Cinny, you do know how heavy microwaves are don't you?? Who's sent you out for that on a pushbike???

Went back to the calculator, BMI 21.3, actually a bit chuffed with that, didn't think I'd still squeeze into the normal range, but I'm officially less squuezy than NIM! Guess it's a pretty poor measure though as muscle weighs more than fat, and I weighed less before I started exercising, but I was at least a clothes size bigger.
I have worked out that as of now I have 16,099 pounds of debt and it is 247 days till the end of the year..................................hmmmmmmmm:p

Wanna race me?! 3 days less and fractionally less debt... Go on, it'll be fun, we'll all cheer you on!

Hope your presentation goes well Tinkerbel, short ammount of stress then you can relax with the kitkats and biccie exercises.

Cinny please don't encourage NIM to eat more crap! I'm vainly trying to introduce colours other than yellow into his diet, but he keeps looking at them with suspicion. Tbf he'll face root veggies, but generally they are just lighter or darker versions of 'yellow'! Your pancakes sound yum though. I love making the thick american ones with blueberries in with loads of strawberries, raspberries and some maple syrup. Mmmm.

Didn't know you used to have a thread Cinny. Good luck getting the microwave on Darcy!

  • Wow, I've obviously been away too long! Belated congratulations Dinah, both on the debt busting and the shiny new thread. What an incredible achievement in such a short space of time.

All this talk of big fat pancakes has made me ravenous, even though I've already had breakfast.

Cinny- the vision of you trying to get the microwave home is a classic....

Is it just me who has a ridiculous 'Some Mothers do have 'em' style sketch in my head of Cinny cycling a microwave home?!
I think men do have BMIs because you specifiy your sex when putting it into some calculators, OH's is 25 but his body fat is about 10.2%! He's all muscle bless his little rugby socks! He actually strives to weigh more than 12st, what loon wants to put on weight?!
Tinkerbel, the link is http://www.gcflearnfree.org/ click on Computer Training and then select the excel version you use from the list.
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!
