Don't you have 100 euros you can change back Tete?
If you don't need petrol I reakon you could last on it until payday.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That sounds like a challenge Tete! Is there anything you need to buy before payday or is it just a case of being a bit skint and miserable but surviving nontheless?!
I was feeling quite happy with myself about this months money as I spent a lot last weekend but I was planning on that being it for the rest of the month, but my golf lessons start on the 24th and that's £50! Oh well, will have to have a no spend, or very low spend weekend!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
No don't panic I have money in the bank! Just want to see how long I can last without drawing any out, want to have some left over at the end of the month. My 100 euros will be going towards spending money on our cheapy holiday next month - no point changing it back when chances are we'll be going somewhere in the Euro zone. Hmm, where did I put my Projected Spends spreadsheet...?
Golf lessons Birdie I forgot about that!! I can just see you in some tartan trousers and one of those flat cap things they wear! Will be fun!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I'd say excluding petrol you *could* last until payday, but you'd have to not go out or buy treats etc obviously.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I didn't know you were going to take lessons Birdie! Do you have to wear a sweater vest?!
Tete - Sounds like a nice challenge to see how far you can get with what you have in your purse!
Been looking around for cheap ideas for Fathers Day (that aren't socks) Anyone have any ideas?0 -
No father's day ideas here!! I usually get him some book on local/family history/history in general but I'm a bit stumped this year. Men are so hard to buy for!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

I got my dad an Italian Job t-shirt in Tescos on a 20% off weekend (£6.40) and a Fred Dibbnah book from the book people (£4.99) and that postage only card with a picture of him looking destroyed in his cycling gear on it! (50p) Total spend £11.89, price for appearing the generous daughter, priceless.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Haha, I was looking at the postage card, are they any good? I saw the Fred Dibnah book on bookpeople too, but I'm sure he has it. Toying between Bear Grylls or The Crossing on BananaBooks. Trying not to look any further onto the site as I've already found 10 books I want.0

The golf club does have a dress code so believe me I'll be getting kitted out in lovely pringle-type knits! Might have a little look online now...
I have no idea what to do for my Dad, I might treat him to some Father-Daughter time as we haven't done anything on our own together for ages, we used to go out 'bonding' once a month when my Mum had to go to work on Saturdays but boys entered the equation and Mum got sulky that he was out having fun whilst she was 'slaving' away at work so she'd leave him a big list of jobs to do that took all day! Anyway, I've been talking about taking him to the Thackray Museum in Leeds for ages so I might take him there for a day out!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary.
