Morning, I hate coming back to work after a holiday - 62 new emails, once I've gone through and deleted all the rubbish that people send to All Staff that doesn't concern me at all. Does anyone ever have those days where their face feels all scrunched even though you've had a shower and everything? We're all starting to look at when the place closes for Christmas which is a bit depressing!

Anyway, one of the girls has brought the coffees so I'm going to make a start while I'm on my caffeine high...

Cinny, you can take the job now, but you need to set the date you will do it within 48 hours of saying 'yes I will do it' - you don't actually complete the job until the date specified.

6 people at one of the nearby schools have swine flu, however this school is closely linked with the school my brother is at, and one of the girls with swine flu, her brother is in my brothers year! They're off on A-levels at the moment though so hopefully even if the lad does have it he won't have passed it on to anyone.

My OH has got a cold and been sent home from work, hope it isn't anything serious!!

Managed to get into work easier today, finishes at 7 tonight and staying for a drink after work so should be k.

Oh, the Swine Flu excitement rises; the lady's daughter was on a bus to an athletics meet last week with Swine Flu Girl (as she shall be known as from now on!) so she has to be treated for it! We've all said that we're going to rub ourselves all over the lady in the hope that it'll spread and they'll shut us down! Do you get the impression that we're not taking it very seriously?!

Well I've got my inbox down to a manageable size but haven't checked my bank balance yet, will do that after dinner then might have a bit of a dooyoo catch up. Easing myself in definitely Poddle!

Hmm, swine flu is definitely getting a bit close for comfort I have to say! I was hoping the university might close but that's not looking likely now that most of the students have gone for the summer. Saying that, hope your OH's ok Wendz. My OH is having the day off because he left his car keys in my handbag yesterday! So he just rang in and said he'd take a flexi day, nice!
