We dont go until the end of june, i just want to try and get a couple of bits each week, spread the cost out a bit. All my holiday stuff from last year is no good anymore, when i went on holiday last year i was quite ill beforehand and lost alot of weight. Now i am back to my normal weight and all my holiday clothes are a size 8 while im a 10/12

I have bought myself one new bikini, still got a few old ones that are still looking alright!

I need to get some sunglasses and a beach towel but apart from that I am pretty good to go

Hey everyone, thanks for the concern. I'm fine but I did break something... My ego is broken beyond repair. But that may not be so bad. Anyway I am fine, I'm alive etc. Although that being said, when I sat in to drive home my arms and legs started shaking almost uncontrolably so it'll be a while till I'm at 100% again.

Test went well today. Got further into it than anyone else ever has bar the one person who has finished it, that said I dont know how accurate my responses were.

Aw, bless you NIM, hope you're back to your fine Tesco-menacing self soon. I'm sure your lovely lady is looking after you. Well done on the test!

All this holiday talk is giving me very itchy feet! But I'm going to calm myself down by watching Martin on GMTV over breakfast.

Sounds like you're getting really into this hiking/walking thing, Tete, despite burn-face and near-nappy rash! Is it something you've got into through your OH? I'm terrible for developing a new hobby and wanting all the paraphernalia that goes with it - luckily I've only had to buy a helmet for my bike, and I've used it loads. Oh, and a bell! But that was only £2.99 and is a necessity for making oblivious people move off the cycle path.

Loved BOTH the DOTDs yesterday - thanks Birdie and Lara! Maybe this is why there aren't too many boy readers on this thread...

    Morning all!
Dinah, that dress is.... interesting! I love the one that Lara posted though, so pretty! I quite like the idea of a 50's style dress if we go away, as long at it is something light!
I spent all yesterday evening at the hospital; OH's Dad has had 3 'dos' recently due to an irregular heartbeat and was in again last night suffering worse than he has done before- seeing your soon to be father in law throw up whilst shirtless with little sticky things all over him is not enjoyable! He ended up being kept in overnight for observation, so we had to leave at 8.20, grab some food as we'd been there since 5.15 then race back to Ripon (from Harrogate) to pick OH's Mum up from work at 9.30. I was so sleepy I just collapsed into bed, then OH kept me awake all night flapping about because he was worried about his operation today!
NIM, I won't embarrass you now by making comments about making an honest woman of our Dinah! ;)

    Morning girls!

So sorry to hear about your OHs Pa Birdie, it sounds horrible, he'll be okay won't he?

Bought my little shadow to work with me, who is currently asleep on the spare office chair chasing rabbits in her sleep. Bless!

Good luck to finding the perfect swimsuit Flower! They're right up there with jeans on the hard to buy list. I still have tags on my swimsuit I bought last year :o bought it in the matalania sale thinking 'I'll become a sports goddess!' but decided to stay home and watch Hairspray instead.

Best get on with work I suppoooose, seeing how that's what I'm being paid to do!

Sorry about your future FIL, Birdie, hope he's not too poorly. Also hope OH's op goes well too! Sounds very stressful, I recommend those tea-drinking exercises and multiple biccies x

Thanks girlies! Got a text from MIL2B saying that he'd had a comfortable night and doing well so he should be home later this morning, just as OH gets admitted! I was going to go see him tonight but visiting hours are 6-8 but he probably won't get out of theatre till 7ish and he'll be all groggy and horrible so he told me to stay home. I've asked him to beg the doctor to put a pot on his leg for the first week as he has to be super careful moving his leg as the tendons could snap if he jolts his leg (they're basically snipping away some hamstring and stretching it down to his calf!) and I'm really clumsy and I'll hurt him, I know I will!
Off to get a coffee and biscuits for my morning exercise!

Hope your FIL to be is on the mend today Birdie. Best wishes to your OH today too.

Btw, how do you people post full piccies to the thread rather than just links?! Technical answers on a postcard please....

Discovered we only have a £150 excess on the insurance policy, which is good, and NIMs car is only minorly dented so shouldn't have to do any work to it, but I do think NIM will be leaving a stopping distance of a small county between him and other drivers in future!

Missed out on LOADS of RE jobs this morning, which is a kicker, could have done with them as we only have 3 jobs lined up between us atm! Even worse there are 8 jobs in Dublin airport up there for between now and the 20th, each paying £12 + reimbursement, £96 would cover the costs of our flights and most of the cost of the train tickets over and back to Limmerick too! Grrr, hopefully more will pop up.
