Oooh fair! Actually that should be ewwww fair, when NIM and I went to the one at Yarm last year I nearly died on the waltzer, thought my insides were going to burst!
I always feel like that on Fairground rides! I'm fine and dandy on big rides at theme parks but hate fairground rides, I feel like I'm going to get flung off and die!

Have been thinking about dress possibilites if we decide to get married on a Caribbean beach (if we can work out family logistics!) and a big white dress is not exactly sensible attire is it? If anything, a big silk dress will be too hot in that weather! Anyway, have been looking on the Debenhams website and saw this! Pretty! Maybe a little too pink but I'm a pink girl!

Could you really not wear the big white dress? I wouldn't feel like it was a 'real' wedding without the dress and the church and everything!

I could but I'm not sure what I really want if we get married in a beachy location. I don't want to be all hot and sweaty (ewww) and feeling uncomfortable and weighed down and the lighter looking dresses all seem to be empire line style jobbies, which don't suit my figure. We're not having a church do whatever happens (after being bored to death at a Christening we realised that we'd probably be bored at our own wedding if we married in church!). I think I'll be keeping my options open until I find The Dress, be it a fancy white affair or a hot pink party dress!

Something like your DOTD would be okay for a beach wedding im sure! My mum got married on the beach and still went with the whole white wedding dress, just not a big one so she didnt get all hot and bothered!!
Having said that i do like that pink one!

  • Poor NIM I do hope he is OK. Hopefully you will get some good news from the job interview.

I have sold two more items on ebay and received my very large cheque for £2 for the old mobile which was about six or seven years old.

I also did a MS in a pub last night so happy days.

Yay!! Just sold a monsoon dress on ebay for £25, have it over a year now and it has never fit me - i bought it in the sale thinking i would eventually fit into it - dream on!!

Starting to have a big clear out, dont really want to pay to move all our stuff when we move, half of which we dont use. So any money we make from selling it can go towards the moving costs.

I did that last time, cleared a load of debt and I only had to hire a transit for £40 a day instead of a removals firm!
