Lol I just read that and thought 'oh, NIM didn't tell me the other guy was naked!'. That'd be quite something if you were in a car accident and the person got out the other car in his birthday suit!
Heehee, this reminded me of one of my friends who crashed into the back of someone a few months back. When it happened she was really worried they were going to get out and shout at her, but out of the other car came a Hari Krishna in full orange robes! Zen as you like about it! Sorry to hear about the crash from a financial/inconvenience point of view but at least NIM's ok!
Birdie, thanks for the tip off about the fair, might well get the train in that case! Will no-one go on the waltzers with me?
I have to say it's a bit disconcerting how many people are now coming out of the woodwork as secret lurkers! I thought it was just the few of us reading our inane chatter!
Just getting myself pulled round for work tomorrow after another long weekend. We went up Haystacks on Saturday and got caught in a thunderstorm, turns out my swish walking pants are not in the least waterproof but I narrowly escaped nappy-rash. So that's 'deluge bottoms' added to my list of things I need (Dinah, OH and I have been in Go Outdoors about three times a week since it opened:o, we've bought so much! Always makes me laugh the massive people wandering about who clearly never do anything active, I think they're just there looking at the barbecues) although OH surprised me with a new 'proper walking' backpack to say thanks for doing it with him, which was really sweet
Went to see Let the Right One In last night, very weird, has anyone else seen it? I got my Converse today, turns out the ones I wanted only come in Junior sizes (and I'm an 8!), but the sales people kept just telling me they didn't have my size, so I went for my second choice ones which I could have done weeks ago if I'd known. Also got my watch battery replaced, was cheaper at the actual Fossil shop than all the little watch repair places, though they didn't know anything about a lifetime guarantee Poddle, only a 1 year one. They obviously run out after 15 months or so so that'll be no good to me!
A financial bummer - OH dropped my camera on the kitchen floor and the screen is wrecked - no sign of damage so we're going to chance our arms and take it back saying it just went like that one day but don't know whether Jessops will see straight through that! Will cost a bomb to repair I think
Sorry another epic from me, this is what happens when I don't come one for a couple of days! Best get sorted for work tomorrow, training and 'team lunch' WOO!
ETA - Where did that £500 on the deposit come from then Dinah?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I know what you mean, I felt odd posting on the thread at first, and that was in the early days! but you should post more because we're really very nice and you seem lovely too (I've been a lurker on your thread!) and ignore NIM, the biscuits and treats come straight to me
Aw thanksOoh you've been a lurker like me!
Well I'll definately try and post more, as long as I can keep up!
Glad you're ok NIM, rubbish that you gotta spend money on something unplanned like that.
I've got some lesson plans to write so I'll catch up on everything tomorrow!

Having a bit of a dilemma at the minute. I really need some new bikinis for when i go on holiday. I cant really get cheap ones as i have quite a big chest so need the ones that will hold me in!! The ones i have been looking at are £23 each, but for a two week holiday i am going to need a few!! Feels so wrong spending that much money thoughBiggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0

But if you get good ones that fit you right Flower you'll be able to use them again next year (or later this year if you're lucky!) and won't feel the need to buy more ... see them as an investment
(Have you looked into cashback etc?)Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Didnt think about cashback tete, will have to have a look into that. OH keeps telling me i should just get them, theres nothing better than getting good fitting bikinis!! I think i am going to have to just for it, even if i do feel guilty after!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0

I wont feel guilty anymore! Just looked through quidco and can get cashback lol.
I really need to tidy up, we have an inspection by the stupid letting agents tomorrow morning - not looking forward to it at all, OH is going to be here and is really annoyed with the way they have treated us (to be fair i can understand why, i just dont think shouting is going to solve anything), just hope everything goes okBiggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Gotta say I was impressed by Tescos structured ones, £3.50 for a top half and £2 for a bottom half. So I got 2! I'm a 34D depending on the shape etc, and these were fine even when we went swimming and snorkelling. I bought one at £25 first of all and tbh I wish I hadn't bothered as it was no better than the tescos ones, and I certainly looked best in the white Tescos one.
Sorry about your camera Tete
