    Hi Kadiya.. welcome back!!

Your meal plan looks good - 27 meals, thats loads!! I hope you manage to stick to it, that would be super organised! :T

How long is it now until the baby is born? (Sorry if I've missed it above!) I'm feeling quite broody just now but need to wait until my uni course is finished this time next year... think my DD could be done with a sibbling or two!!

    Hopefully talk to you soon!

    Hi CWC :D
It IS a lot of meals, and with there only being about 7 weeks  left until the boy is born, there seems to be quite a lot to do!
Needless to say, I'm printing off lists of things we still need for baby, routines for the kiddies, my meal list, stuff I might need for the hospital, decorating that needs to be done around the house, various gardening bits...I'm still kicking myself that I didn't get anything done sooner!
Bless at you feeling broody! How old is your DD now?
When my oldest hit about 2/3 I felt really broody then, probably because there wasn't anyone to 'baby' anymore, if you know what I mean?
Haven't had that problem this time!LOL
Caught up on your thread too, looks like you've been working hard on all sides, and congrats on the results you got from uni so far!:T

Hi Kayida, congrats on the baby.

You look really organised with the menu plan.

    Couple of thoughts

If you add any bits you forgot or need to stock up on to your online shop next time you just need to hit send and you've got another month (or 2 or 3) covered without having to do a plan again. Just mix up the days if you fancy...one less job while you're tired. Be creative when your son is here and you're back on your feet.

Secondly, can OH help out at all in the kitchen to let you rest up, especially if you stick to a plan and he sees from you how to do stuff?

    Hey Kissjen :D
Thanks, thats a really good idea about the online shop.Hadn't thought of that.
I would say it's pregnancy brain, but that would be a terrible understatement :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
As for OH cooking, he is going to be doing a lot of "helping" out these next 27 days or so...as in, he will be cooking and I shall supervise ;)
I'm on strict bed rest, and I'm not supposed to be doing ANYTHING at all, but you know what it's like when you just want to get things done, and no-one does it aswell as you do hehe
Anyway, the idea is that he does the cooking under supervision in order to get him more confident in the kitchen, and the list includes all the kinds of meals that he prefers to eat, most of them are pretty quick or uncomplicated, so that will make things easier for him too :)
This way, if things start to go horribly wrong, I can quickly just take over. We'll see...I'm more nervous than he is!
Total NSD for Monday which I'm chuffed about.
It's unfortunate we need to top up the Gas and electric.
It's fortunate though that gas consumption is pretty low right now because we may not have much sun around here, but it's still REALLY warm, so no need for the gas other than hot water for baths :j
That should come to about £25 for both.Seems wasteful, so will have to start keeping my beady eye on that one too...
I really should be in bed, but the Braxton Hicks are really strong tonight
Oh well, it's one day closer to him being born :D

Ouchy ouchy. Do you think he'll make an early appearance? Did the girls?

Training OH is very sensible and then when you're resting up afterwards - eg joining baby for naptime madam (did you like the stern :naughty: waggy finger there) - he'll be able to flounce around the kitchen whipping up innumerable culinary delights.

2nd NSD in a row :jnot even electric or gas bought lol :rotfl:
Really pleased about this, as the temptation to have "something" was really strong today:eek:
We are now completely oout of milk, marg, bread and fruit, so thank goodness for the shopping arriving tomorrow!!!:j
Stuck to the meal plan too, and it make quite a good meal. Of course, I ended up cooking, because MOTH can't seem to grasp the concept of timings, and didn't see how I managed to make a meal in 10 minutes when it takes him about 30  Would explain why the bacon he gives me is always dried out and pretty burnt ;)

    Hey again Jen :hello:
I don't know if he will make an early arrival to be honest. There is a weeks difference between my dates and the hospitals dates, so it's possible that either way he could be "on time"
I have so far had two overdue babies and one early one (due to c-section) so it's anyones guess I'm afraid! :D
AS for training MOTH, it's hard enough getting him to help with the housework and do a bit of DIY, which has caused a bit of an arguement today.
He feels like I'm putting too much pressure on...I don't see how thats possible when the man doesn't seem to actually DO anything at all.
It's left me feeling really fed up and thinking that it's all just a waste of time even bothering, but hey, maybe tomorrow will be a good day and it wont be so hot (even without the sunshine it's driving me mad) and I'll be able to write a list and actually get through it...
and I'm just rambling now lol.
Perhaps I should just go to bed, sleep and be ready for tomorrow :D

Sleep well and btw they're all like that I've decided (or more exactly all the ones I've ever hooked up with). I'll tell you the unedifying story of Donkeygate one day or The Big Hairy Monster - you can choose!!

My shopping arrived this morning and O.M.G. I don't think I have EVER seen that much food!
There was so much that some of it has had to be stored on top of wardrobes, as well as in the little cupboard we have under the stairs.
Looking at it, I think I can make it stretch further than the 27 days we haved planned, but, of course, I haven't factored in lunches, so we will have to see...but EEK! What a lot of food!
So other than the food shopping, there has been no other spending :)
Have had to have firm words with MOTH AND the kids, because it was almost like they went stupid on food. :confused:Most of the bananas have already gone, MOTH has already eaten a wHOLE packet of sweets, and the kids nearly finished off another packet between them.
MOTH then tried to help himself to several packets of the crisps and I just thought that enough was enough. The food i made for our evening meal was more than enough for ALL of us, and I'm not having them pig out just because we actually have food in the house. It kinda negates the point of doing this in the first place:mad:
Other than the whole food thing though, we have had an absolutely fabulous day. The oldest had to stay off of school because of some really freaky rash. It looks so weird. have told oldest that if it isn't cleared by tomorrow, then I'm taking them to the Dr's. Apparently it's really itchy. I felt itchy just looking at it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Sorry, shouldn't laugh. Poor, poor babe ;)
So the paddling pool got set up in the garden for the younger ones this afternoon, and we all had a great time out in the warmth, which was lovely.
Thing is, everyone has been really cheerful and happy, chores got done without complaint, shopping got put away quickly, food that was prepared for them they ate etc, so other than them being a bit gutsy and the oldest being miserable for the first hour this morning (can you tell someone loves school:rotfl:) I feel so much lighter than I did a few months ago.
And it doesn't matter so much anymore that we have virtually no support network, or that MOTH struggles with his disability or even that we have so much money to repay:D
    Ohhh, think I had a good day?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Best stop rambling before this turns into mush and people start throwing up on their computers

I have the theme song to Little House on the Prairie going round my head now :rotfl:

We may be poor maw but we all lurve each other (one scene never to be witnessed here).

We're more Arnie meets the Waltons

    Hasta la vista grandpaw

Seriously have lots of happy days they're the ones you'll remember. And when the wee man makes an appearance - merry mayhem will ensue which is extra fun.
