Hiya, haven't really been able to get on properly all week but I am still trying my best to be a good DFW, honest!
1) Scratch 2 x 20p ( Well done angelflower!) Thanks for the heads up on the double scratch Millyscarlet.
2)Lowish SD. Under a fiver at any rate. Popped to Somerfield on the way back from the school run and got the paper and a few bits a witnessed a really nasty punch-up in the car park - at 8.20 in the morning. :eek:Second car park punch-up I've seen this month.
3) Went to Adventure Wonderland using season ticket. Took own drinks.
4) Received lovely Boden t-shirt in post for T, courtesy of ebay.
5) Attempted to declutter a bit, really need to desperately. I keep walking into doorframes and banging into things so there must be far more carp everywhere than there should be.
6) Three loads of washing line dried.
7) Checked Quidco and attempted some surveys. Got over 75% through one and got chucked off !
8) Entered coke zone points and o2 surprises.
I'm feeling generally quite poo today- too fat, too debt-ridden and too slovenly.
I am planning to hole myself up with a glass of wine and Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice tonight and have a good girly wallow until I feel relatively normal again! 0 -
Evening all
Such a long day at work, wish I could relax and enjoy the weekend but my mum is away at the minute so I'm covering her shifts. More money :j but have to work on a Sunday:mad: and even worse it is OH's birthday on Sunday so won't get out with him until after 3.
Anyway today I have:- worked very VERY hard
- checked online banking- can't wait til Monday- for a fleeting moment my account balance will not be red as my loan will be in! Then using half of it to pay off Capitalone CC and getting rid!
- daily scratches- 25p and 10p
- NSD- woohoo
- breakfast and lunch at work for free- perk of the job
- dinner from freezer
- having a quiet night in with OH to enjoy having house to ourselves
- put some washing on to try and avoid having 10 loads at end of week- I miss my mum when she goes away! Especially when I am left with two smelly boys who have everything done with them and see me as mum's substitute when she is away
- use parents' cars while they are away to save my weekly fuel allowance:rotfl:

Bigbum - Sorry I didn't reply yesterday, had to get home. Shift went ok. At first I thought how am I going to get the hang of this and the trays are sooooooo heavy! but by the end of the night I was ok. Got £16 in tips which will go straight on the card and should get wages next week so will see how they work out after tax and possibly student loan deducations. Your second job sounds good. The way I am seeing it at the mo is that although I wish I didn't have to work two jobs (well I don't need to to live but it will help clear the debts and give me a bit more security) I am lucky to have one job let alone two, especially in the current climate. I could be doing worse jobs too so I am thinking myself lucky
Way to go debt free me!. Once all deductions have been made *boo*, i hope the extra wages earned are worthwhile :T. Take care of those horrid debts once and for all :T.
I was once offered a waitressing job, but bottled it as i was terrified of tripping up and spilling food & drink over the patrons :rotfl:. It sounds like your not as clumsy as me, so it should work out well :T.
Yep, we're lucky to have a job let alone two, so i'm not about to moan about my lot. I'll be starting work with an aquiatance. Well, i've know her for about a month and she's a friendly person, so i told her about the position i was going for and she was also accepted :T. I guess i'll get to know her better now
. It won't be so bad working in a new place with a familiar face.
Hope you get your internet up and running. It's rotten when you can't get online isn't it
. Can't remember what life was like before the WorldWideWeb came along
. It must have been a cold and empty place in a world before MSE
Today i:
[STRIKE]Did shopping for mum
Bought a new shirt for work
Did free scratchcards
Followed up on all work-related phonecalls
Deposited money at bank(s)
Made online pad payments
Did washing-up/hoovering
[/STRIKE]
Tidied bedroom
[STRIKE]Cleaned kitchen and dining room[/STRIKE]
Take care all

Ooooh my £50 gift card came today for taking car insurance with them - what a treat!! Need to decide whether to use it on next week's food or keep it for something exciting one day.....;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
good evening everyone!!! well am i glad its friday, its been the longest week and i havent achieved very much. just getting to grips with my new life as a wannabe MSE,
Today i:
-Got paid, managed to stay away from the town and clothes shopping, bad habit of mine!!!
-wrote a bget plan and already stressing out that i wont have any left by next week
-paid catalogue bill, will check tomorrow if its been added to my account to see if its cleared the account, if so will write letter to cancel account, then one less debt to think about or tempt me into spending!!!!!
-posted ebay items sold.
having 3 dilemas:
1) how do i say no to going out this weekend?? I could do with productiveness, need to declutter, list lots and get myself sorted for a new routine for a mse to make money and clear debt. its only going to cost me for dinner but thats dinner too much?? oh i dont know. I dont want to be a let down.
2) ive got a nice phone which i dont really use to its full capacity, i am looking to buy a cheaper phone and sell this one. My husband says i am crazy and i am only doing it to make money.... i think its a wise move...
3) ive found some old jewellery, some which is broken (silver and gold) dont want to throw but dont know what to do, any ideas?
daily clicks - going ok i think however i dont seem to be having lots approved. i suppose it will take time though.
have good evening!!!0 -
Back from London at about 7.30, so pretty tired. Meeting was pretty boring but nice restaurant for lunch
and didn't have to pay.
Did tagliatelli with a sauce made from creme fraiche, herbs from the garden and a jar of those mushrooms in oil from Ald!, together with salad leaves from the greenhouse for supper - yum!
Done 3 surveys and sold a book on Amazon, and ITS FRIDAY :T:T:T:T
Have a good night everyone!0 -
