Hi there
Don't know the answe unfortunately but do these work?
Sky0 -
according to the tooth whitening thread they do with most peopleFr. Stack: While you were out, I got the keys to your car. And drove it into a big wall. And if you don't like it, tough. I've had my fun, and that's all that matters.0

No, they do not work on crowns or white fillings but no whitening products will work on such restorations0 -
My Oh has been using the Whitestrips Supreme from Ebay and in just 7 days there was a big difference in the colour of his teeth.
We were quite surprised how quickly they work.
He has a 21 day course and they cost 30.00.
The only problem he now has is he has a crown on a front tooth that looks a bit different to the other teeth.
He has asked his dentist about replacing it but he said he cant take it out as it might cause all sorts of problems.0 -
Hi there!
Does anyone have any experience on having their teeth whitened,
I would think this would be better having it done through a dentist, or at least asking for a dentist's referral?
I'm not so much worried about the costs, but I dont want to risk having it done somewhere where i could end up having my teeth damaged in some way!
Also while i'm at it, which is the best way to find a good dentist in the new area that I've moved to?
Thks!!** i didn't lose my mind, i sold it on ebay **0 -
Sorry, I haven't had it done at a dentist but will post here anyway in case it is of some interest to you or anyone else

I've used The Teethwhite Laboratory System after seeing it recommended in magazines and newspapers. It's basically the same as the dentist uses, the only difference being that you take the teeth moulds yourself (and then send them off to a lab to make the mouthpiece). It has had very good results and so I'd recommend it. My only complaint is that it was difficult to make good moulds and they only provided enough dental putty to make them once. But the customer service was very good and when I wasn't happy with the mounthpiece made from my moulds they sent me some more putty and made another mouthpiece for me.
I think it cost about £200 because I bought the regular strength kit, but with a top-up pack of the strongest gel. This worked out cheaper than buying the strongest kit in the first place.
Some time after buying it I did notice this place does it cheaper http://www.twiceaswhite.com
but I haven't used them0
