RAF Partners Posted To Germany...Any Info Please??

Sounds like he is posted to Gutersloh which in a nice enough part of North Germany - at least better than the location of the large RAF bases that are/were near the Dutch border - Bruggen, Wildenrath etc.
I don't think you are elligble for Indulgence flights if you are not married' but they are a waste of time to Germany with so many other ways of getting there - They were OK for the Far East, Cyprus etc when commercial flights were more expensive than today.
The nicest part of Germany is Bavaria and the Black Forest IMO. Its an easy days' drive but you can ski in winter and it is great in the summer. A hard days' drive can get you to Northern Italy, South of France or even Northern Spain.0 -
