Im so annoyed less than a month since CPW repaired my SE C905 phone and Its gone again the same problem with the c key so I cant text now as cant use the c key for any mistakes:mad:

So I guess Im faced with the same problem of getting it fixed at a CPW and I dont live near to a repair centre so will mean a trip to Birmingham or Worcester Sat in the hope they will repair it in the same day. Last time was next day, I dont drive and Its really tricky to get to these places but If I use the local CPW i get quoted 6 weeks!!! and no replacement phone.

What I really want now is a new phone, only signed an 18 month contract in Jan but I cant see them doing anything other than fixing it again and I bet it will go again.

Is this a major fault do you think with the phone if Its happened twice?

I mainly text instead of ringing so will be missing out once again on my 'inclusive texts' until Its repaired.

This is so annoying:mad: anyone else had this problem?

this and the ear piece fault are a well known problem with the c905.

have you tried using SEUS to update the phones firmware? (it probably won't help, but its worth a try)

Thanks, Il have a look at the link.

I love the phone the camera is great but this button sticking problem is getting on my nerves!

Ive rung my nearest CPW who say there is a weeks wait they are so busy with repairs. I shall go to the main Birmingham one Sat see if they can do a 1 day repair, if not will have to take it to nearest store I guess. SA says with a faulty phone it has to break at least 6 times before they begin to consider idea of a new phone:rolleyes:

Might put my SIM in old phone as easier to text with.

Somehow think Il be reluctant to upgrade to a more top end phone again:rolleyes: another 14 months to go and can see this 'sticky button' problem happening again:mad:

After three failed repairs they will allow a refurbished replacement. Those can be ok but are sometimes worse than the one with the original fault.

I had guessed any 'new phone' might be a refurb job:rolleyes:

Will hope this next repair works this time for more than 3 weeks:confused:

I need the email address for SE managing director - worth a try I think!

Not had any problems with mine - other than me dropping it in a glass of squash. I wouldnt be put off just because one guy got unlucky with one.

No dont be put off the phone anyone - I really like it super camera, easy to use, just think Ive got an iffy one:rolleyes:

Last time I had great service and found the helpful staff at CPW, it was fixed in less than 24 hours - just hope its fixed and stays fixed this time!

Ive not ever tried the Nokia N95 out.

I like the camera photos seem sharp and good quality, I use it to take photo evidence for students folders at work if Ive not got a camera and they are fine.

Texting - depends if you like raised keys or not as the C905 has a flat keypad that took me a while to get use to and Im not as quick on it as my old SE W810i, but still like it.

Id pop to a phone shop and try it out, Im really hoping this fault with mine gets fixed for good this time but got a feeling it will play up from time to time:rolleyes:
