My £3k challenge

A small £8.50 been paid off this morning from some postal orders I got for small sales last week.
I have gotten back on the Dooyoo track (I think) so hopefully that'll help towards OH's xmas pressie a bit more.
I have also started a blog over the weekend. It's a personal blog to me but hopefully it'll also have some money making / saving tips included as I find my own way through my challenges. If anyone fancies a gander then the link is in my profile.
I have also linked it to my jewellery making one so I may get a bit more exposure for that as well.
I love writign and I thought that maybe it would help get my thoughts that spin round my mind about how to make and save onto a different platform and help me as well as others.
Off to the library this morning with DD2 and then the shop to get some milk. Need to also hoover behind the radiators today as the heating went on yesterday and they stank (it's a smell that our old house had from the heating from when I was pregnant and made me feel yuk. It's bringing back horrid memories at the mo) so need to get rid of that as I'm hoping it's just dust.0 -
I have started doing some more dooyoo again, hopefully we will both stay on track!0

Yeah I'm hoping that getting back into the habit of it will work for me Wendz. So far so good.
I got an unexpected payment from myhomepagefriends, the last payment from before they changed. I had forgotten about that so that was a nice surprise. Think it'll get spent on xmas pressies though rather than the loan.0 -
I've applied for the amazon credit card this evening for a couple of reasons.
- I wanted one for monthly spends to pay off in full every month but I didn't just want a random card more one with some bonus or cash back etc.
- The amazon one provides me with points redeemale for amazon vouchers plus I get £15 amazon voucher for signing up and making a purchase so I have just bought MIL's xmas pressie (which I was going to get anyway) and will have an extra £15 towards OH's xmas pressie.
If I show any hint that I wont be paying things back then it'll be cut up straight away but I am confident about it.0 -
I have got a credit card and I pay it off every month so I think it is a good idea as long as you do that!0

Hiya
Glad you enjoyed your holiday, it's good to get away from home and have a change of scenery. I had a wee peep at your blog too and subscribed to that. I have every confidence in you re your credit card, that you will not abuse it, you are such an organised person and know exactly what you want. Off back to my farm now to check on my animals! LOL

Is that where you've been hiding to Primula? On your farm? I am finding that quite addictive too, not sure where I find all the hours to do everything.
Thanks for checking out my blog though btw x0 -
I seem to have forgotten about my cafe since the holiday.0
