Thanks. I might add it to the Christmas list.
Might have to try an Asda online shop too!

  • Another vote here for slow cookers - I have two - a small basic one which dos stew for both of us, and a bigger one for batch cooking. I wouldn't want to be without either in the winter I must say.

I've got to get my freezer inventory updated too - I've really let it slip recently so it's well out of date.

Another day and back to work today.
Had a nightmare yesterday with permission almost denied from school for our holiday. Why it was left until the last miniute I'll never know. I sorted it and we got the permission, but wont be taking a holiday again in term time (like I can afford it anyway lol) it's too much hassle.

Payday today but it doesn;t mean much as I already know how much money I haven't got for next month including any holiday spends, but still it's a break.

    That's good Jellie.

I have worked out our budget for the coming month and I think we'll be ok in the bills account but only because we're away for a week and wont be doing a lot of shopping before we go. Still might give us a headstart for next month. Shame the rest of the accounts will take abashing seeing as we are away. Hey ho.

Life is all about balance- getting away is really important. If I don't have treats once in a while I go completely off the rails in MSE terms! I'm just trying hard to make the treats as MSE as possible and more in proportion to my budget.

I have requested £70 from tcb today which is nice, and OH has £20 to redeem when he sets up his details later.
I also should have £20 coming in Amazon voiuchers today towards OH's xmas pressie. I have gone off the ball a bit on that and need to work out what I need to do to recoup it. to get back on track.

Farmville has a lot to answer to!

I bought an xmas pressie yesterday for my parents from the kids I bought a digi photo frame from the grabbit board and it's great for the money I paid for it, so hopefully when I load it with loads of pics of the kids they'll be very hapy with it.

Sold one more thing on ebay yesterday so may post that later. Am going to use my paypal money to get xmas pressies from Boots and then I can use the 342 and also get advantage points as well as cash back. Win win I hope.

Sounds like you're going great at the moment!

The photoframe is a great idea. I've done them a couple of times and ended up with the recipients in tears on Christmas day they were so moved by them!
