Ooops I haven't updated for a while. Haven't had any progress with totals.

Off on holiday next week so I think all money has been focused on that. I did get £70 from tcb today which is great but it's waiting to go towards the holiday so no debt reduction sadly.

Have a pile of stuff to ebay but that will have to wait until I get back.
I have a horrible week at work this week but when that's over then it's holiday, a week back at work then another off :)

Also listed a ds game on amazon last night and it sold today so that's good and a tenner coming my way soon :)

Well done on selling the game, you haven't got that much left to pay off now.

    Hello yukkibear!
I'm back! Well, I actually wasn't away but I got lots of overtime and just didn't have the energy or want to put the computer on at home, but normal service has resumed. It's been worthwhile though, the furniture loan is gone now. I need to keep focussed though as I don't want to slip into bad habits again.
Your loan is looking good, you must be chuffed to bits with how well you've done.
Enjoy your break away too, and whatever you do, don't forget to pack the hot water bottles, can be a bit chilly in the caravans at this time of year.
    Have a great time

Thanks guys and good to see you back Primula :)

We're going to Cornwall for a few days, and yep will be taking layers lol.
I am going to enjoy myself though and if that means spending money then so be it!
When we get back I'm going to xmas shop (through bargains of course) and then work my rear off to get this debt gone by xmas so I can start a fresh in January with saving.

Cornwall will be lovely YB - and I think you can give yourself permission to loosen the purse-strings a little while you're on holiday! Enjoy!

I had a wee look at your jewellery on your webpage - it looks really lovely, you must be good with your hands, hope it sells well for you.

Well we're back from Cornwall. It was lovely, but I have also learnt a couple of things whilst I was away.

    - I like a bit of luxury.- we stayed in a caravan - not an issue, but it was cold (well it was October and I should know better), you could hardly turn arund in the toilet (and I like having two toilets for when I need a wee after OH has visted the toilet lol). The sofa bed was so uncomfortable we ended up sleeping on the sofa as DD1 had the double bedroom (aren't I a nice Mum)

    - I have come back with a clear head about debt and money and refreshed to start tackling ways to beat the debt again so all in all good.

We did spend more than I wanted to spend but I also got DD2 some new winter shoes and some warm cardi's etc. We got takeaway rather than eating out every night so saved a bit there. Am back ready to work the finances and get ebaying / surveying etc to try and tackle this debt.

Also need to start getting xmas pressies more sorted (did get one when we were away)

Sounds like you had a great time and good to hear that you are all refreshed and ready to pay off some debt!
