I've had positive feedback on some of my pieces so fingers crossed they do something.
I bought another xmas pressie today. Need to get cracking on debt busting again but my money is all over the shop at the mo.0 -
Hi YB - I've been shamefully AWOL for a while - just checking back in now as I have a slightly quieter time coming up. Delighted to see how well you're still doing - perhaps it's like when you're trying to lose weight - you can't see how well you're doing but someone comes along who hasn't seen you in a while and is really impressed with your progress?!
I had a go at making some christmas pressies etc last year and it went down really well - it was food stuff mostly, we did some jars of lemon curd, fudge for my dad, and a few other bits. Might give it a go again this year but it depends what we can think of to do.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

There are lots of ideas of gifts to make for Christmas on the forum and people who also try and sell goods on threads like this

Thanks Jellie I'll take a look. I'm off to find your diary EH.
Have been running around this morning, and only just had a chance to sit down. I have dinner in the slow cooker so that's very organised of me and hopefully will help me get the shopping down and be a bit more organised about food again.
I played through a casino bonus last night and won £20 ish, but can't withdraw it. I emailed CS and they said they will look into it for me so I can withdraw it, so hopefully I'll have that soon.0 -

I meal-planned this week for the first time in ages - I want to get the freezers run down a bit really but that means having a bit more organisation than I've had of late. I must get back to meal planning as that makes such a difference to both eating properly and saving money/reducing waste. Lasagne tonight - Yummy!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I haven't made lasagne for ages, seem to take the easy option and make sheppards pie as it's slightly quicker when I'm in a rush.0

I also need to get more organised about food again.
My phone crashed and I lost my food inventory so I guess I ought to bite the bullet and start redoing it! I wonder if there is a computer version that would be less likely to go wrong for the application I use!
Do you find your slow cooker useful? I've thought about getting one but am not sure if it would just end up being sat in the cupboard lots of the time!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
My slow cooker is definitely useful in the winter, but I don't use it so much in the warmer months. It's great for leaving on and coming home to a meal almost done so yes I would reccomend one.
Quidco have teemed up with Asda and give you 1% now on your food shopping so done mine online with them this week (hope it tracks) and kept it under £50 and found a free delivery code..
Rissotto for tea tonight0
