Me too, have done absolutely nothing all day! At least you listed your books YB. Tomorrow will be busy for me!
Had a yummy dinner tonight from a recipe from DD's student cookbook. It was sausage with potato and apple. It was really easy and tasty and I think it would work well with pork. Let me know if you fancy the recipe.0 -
Sounds nice Primula, yes please to the recipe.
Having a lazyish morning.
Have been thinking about xmas and as I want to get OH his pressie that's gonna cost me, I am going to save as much as I can in Amazon vouchers to reduce my actual spend.
I can average about £40-£50 per month from Dooyoo and when I'm lucky £5 per week from Bport so will be on my way.
I already have £25 in there and ordered £10 from CP on friday so hopefully the look on his face on xmas morning will be worth my hard work.0 -
Only 2 of my 11 listings sold on ebay tonight, but plenty had watchers so have relisted as well as listing the new ones.0

Below is the recipe for the sausage thing. It was very tasty. The recipe is for 2 so I doubled up the quantity. Enjoy if you go for it.
SAUSAGE WITH APPLE & MUSTARD
4 - 6 sausages
1 onion
1 large eating apple, cut into chunks
2 tablespoons of sweet chutney
1 stock cube
1 teaspoon of mustard
2 large potatoes
salt & pepper
1. Cut the potatoes into small cubes.
2. Fry the sausages until browned. Take them from the pan.
3. Fry the onions and potatoes until they begin to brown.
4. Dissolve the stock cube and add to the pan. Add the apples, mustard, chutney and return the sausages (I cut the sausages into 3 before returning them to the pan). Season. Bring everything to the boil and then turn down and simmer until cooked.0 -
Sounds lovely with the sausage Primula. Will try it with some pork as well. Thanks.
We're off out this afternoon as I'm helping out at an event for work. Means we have to pay to get in (I go free) and then the obligatory crap spends which will be hopefully kept to a minimum.
Hope the weather improves.0 -
Hey YB
Glad you're not tired of pork yet! I'm not sure I have the energy to start planning for Christmas yet. I did buy stuff through the year but can't remember what and have no idea where it is having hidden everything away to try and sell the house!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
