does anyone know when the carboot sale is in Rest Bay, Porthcawl?

cant remember if its the first sunday of the month or what??

hi... i have done a few car boots in splot a few years ago, and personally i didnt find it that good as a seller, as everybody wanted things really cheap, basically giving them away, but as a buyer...it was brilliant...picked up loads of bargins...
i used to travel from swansea to splott......as i had heard it was a really good boot sale......maybe it different now.....

The Rest should be on the first Sunday but because there was a May fair there last Monday - it should be on this Sunday as they usually hold it back.
Bit disjointed but I hope it makes sense

just been to sully car boot and it was fab! there were loads of people selling, and not too many traders, and the weather was great too (not that you can buy that)
i would really recommend a visit next sunday but make sure you get there early (at least half 8) to grab the bargains

Splott Market, Cardiff - every Thurs & Sat 9am - 1pm, free parking + Splott Market every Sun

Car boot every Frid at Virginia Close off Pontygwindy Rd, Caerphilly, next to Jupiter/Caerphilly rugby Club. Gates open 9.30 for sellers & 10am for buyers.

Car boot Sat 13th am finish 12 noon Coed-Glas School, Llanishen, Cardiff. Cars £3, Vans £5

Jumble sale Wenvoe Village Hall Sat 13th Doors open 1pm, adm 20p, refreshment inc hot pies

Rhiwbina Girl Guides Summer Fayre Sat 13th 11am-1pm All Saints Church Hall, Maeyderi, Rhiwbina, /Cardiff

hi lisa and welsh dragon im in barry aslo:D, i think the proceeds from the car boots at Barry Comp go to sending their gym team to a competition abroad, not sure though? i will be going out to bp within a few weeks !!!

Hiya Crompton, and hi to another Barrian !!! yes the ones at Barry Comp are for fundraising to send their gym team abroad, which is why they were talking of holding some in the YMCA carpark too. They said 2 weeks ago that they would not have any last Sunday as they would have been up against Sully - so they would have had no chance.

I went to Sully last week - cracking weather, wandered around for ages and got a brand new reebok keep fit mat for a bargain price of £1.00 ! was thinking of doing some selling but OH seems to be working most Sundays at the mo. I'm off to Cardiff museum with the kids tomorrow so won't be there tomorrow but hopefully next week I'll go.
