Took my head out of the sand on Saturday. Yesterday was the first day of 'positive action'. Rang Orange to change from pay monthly to PAYG (should save £25 per month), and cancelled a couple of direct debits (saving £21 per month). More significantly, I filled out a couple of outstanding overtime and expense sheets - expenses come to c.£200 and overtime comes to c.£300 (gross). Should be a couple of nice fat cheques arriving in a couple of weeks
Here's hoping that my new money saving outlook leads to lots more days like that...........0 -

Nope!!! :rotfl:
I have stuff in the freezer so am planning menus round what I already have, and only buying a few bits to use in the meals.
Last night I had haddock in olive and tomato sauce with fennel and potato wedges, and there's another portion in the freezer for another time.
Tonight I'm having chicken in white wine sauce with sweetcorn and rice.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Hi everyone
My good news is that on 19th April I will have paid the last payment of a 5 year loan! Woohooo! That frees up £279 pm. The even better news is that the extra £279 pm will go towards the credit card debt lol

My good news is that I've been accepted for the HSBC 0% for 9 months card! :j
