I wasn't going to post in here again, pretty much for the reason below:

Does anyone here really think that a debate/discussion on immigration will change anyone's viewpoint? Does anyone believe that even the most logical or erudite post will make dervish, topov, ultra, etc. suddenly go "oh, I never thought of it that way, thanks for bringing that point to my attention. I'm now totally turned around on the whole subject!" Or vise-versa for that matter.

People have entrenched views in this area and are, IMHO, very unlikely to change their opinions. Pretty pointless discussion if all we do is trade insults, don't you think?

Yes, I do. This thread has greatly influenced me.

Based on dervish, ultra and topov/your posts I am now a confirmed racist. I despise the petty minded boorishness of little Englanders, and I pledge my allegiance to black / asian / polish supremacy.

Thanks bendix, you answered my question completely. It is indeed pointless trying to discuss immigration in an adult fashion on an internet forum.

By the way, contrary to public belief, I'm not Topov. If it helps people to undermine my argument to create objectionable sockpuppets and then claim they're mine, then so be it. I'll continue to use logic and my excellent command of the English language, if that's OK?

By the way bendix, you're one of the many posters on here who joined a while ago, have very few posts, yet seem to know all our doings and all the goings on in this forum. Whose sock puppet are you, exactly? (do you see how it works yet?)

It's called reading, DD. It's not that difficult.

I've been here a few months, have a decent number of posts, so not sure what your point is. It's not hard to see who thinks what and how the whole thing works.

How can you be on here so much and yet not post? There are so many interesting and contentious subjects (including this one) that I can hardly imagine how you don't get involved in them. Then there are the other parts of MSE where people actually help each other. Have you never felt the need to discuss any financial products or get any financial assistance?

I have often wondered how people maintain low post counts and yet log onto MSE everyday. I'd be very interested if you could enlighten me.

Hey DD you are my favourite poster, I enjoy your long eloquent posts, I just wondered why you wish to prolong these racist threads when you don't agree with racism being discussed?
BTW I only think (I don't know) you are some of the very clever Sockies, I mean it as a complement.
