Online supplier of bathroom fittings?

Hi
I wondered if anyone can recommend a supplier of quality bathroom fittings? I need a sink unit, taps, flooring, a loo and a bath panel. I was looking at Victoria Plumb? I have used bathstore.com and found their quality very poor (particuarly the hinges on loos and taps)
Any help much appreciated.

I heard bad things about victoria plumb's delivery so I didn't use them.
I got some tiles off eBay, they were fab. As well as our toilet seat and the towel rail! Give it a go, some suppliers list on there which is good. Just make sure you check their feedback.
I got my sink from Ikea, didn't buy online myself but you can buy it online if you want.
We also didn't get a bath panel, our builder cut a panel of plywood ( i think) to fit and the tilers put our floor tiles on it! Looks amazing, much cleaner lines than a curvy/busy bath panel.
Can provide pics if you want. We only had it done about a month ago. Kavanne

I got all my stuff from Jewsons, Twyfords and Bristan. They price matched the best prices I could find on the web. Some of their stuff was even cheaper than I could find on the web.0

I've just redone my bathroom. Used Cityplumbing as they had 4 showrooms local to me and they gave me 25-27% discount, I could try out the items ~ not making the mistake again of buying a nice looking uncomfortable bath. Plus delivery within 2 days.
Bought my tiles from local independent retailer. Again 15% discount on prices that were already cheap.
Bought my electric shower from Homebase as it was as cheap as the web plus they gave me discount just by asking.
Was going to tile my bath instead of bath panel but if we had a leak we had no way of getting access under the bath without removing tiles so stuck with plain white panel.

Our fitter put screws in so the tiled panel is removable. Can yours do the same? IMHO it looks waaaaay better

We got everything apart from the bath and the screen for our bathroom from City Plumbing, they also gave us a 25% discount. The bath and screen were from Plumb Centre because we needed a specific size that only they sold.
I got my radiator and thermostatic valve from Plumbworld and whilst they were quite cheap the thermostatic valve was so cheapy the threads were sheared off and I ended up paying out for another one (cost less from City Plumbing and far superior quality). The radiator looks fab but it's only been in a week so time will tell as to the quality.
Personally I wouldn't buy stuff I couldn't look at first and my plumber wasn't particularly enthusiastic about plumbworld stuff tbh.0 -

Your tiled plywood bathpanel is not ideal, Tiling on plywood is not a good idea in a bathrom
Plumbworld sell junk, brands like ceramica are cheap and nasty
Brands which are affordable to all
Bristan and hansgrohe for taps and showers
Ideal standard and twyfords for sanitry ware
manhattan/flair/ lakes for shower cubicles
Mira for electric showers

Like I said I don't know if it is plywood, I am not sure. Why is this a bad idea? what could we expect to happen with this? It has all been sealed so I am not sure what could be an issue...Kavanne
