    It might not be entirely financially astute, but it keeps things simple, which to me is worth the few extra quid a month.

    Looks good though. Seems you have it all in control after all.

    Cheers vandanfc - it has felt a bit out of control for the last year, so it good to feel like things are settling down.

    Really must NOT get complacent though as there will be no sharesave maturing in 2010, so nothing to dig me out of any holes I might create. Scary thought!!

    Skint - I might suggest it. I was going to have a chat with them about fundraising for the school in any case. Does anyone have any knowledge about raising money for a school - what things it can be used for etc?

    Nothing remotely money saving to report today, feeling full of a cold, shivering and aching all over, and slightly shamefaced to admit I realised I had a tenner in my purse so used most of it for chinese food, so I didn't have to bother cooking. :o
