    Hello,

I shoudn't really come here tonight as I have spent a fortune on something silly - makeup. I haven't used any for 10 years and today got the whole load AND got my hair cut. Can you tell that I am suffering from crisis as I will be fourty on Thursday.

    I have/will done my usuals:
    - Scratchies
    - Curly
    - Cashback bingo
    - Taken fruit to work (did buy sandwich for lunch - must get organised)
    - Didn't buy any muffin or chocolate to go with my morning tea
    - Got 50% discount for hair cut - bargain
    - Supper is ready in fridge, needs just heating up
    - Print out stuff for my mystery shop for tomorrow
    - Really should find that cheque book
    - Also should find latest bill from nursery to figure out how much I still owe them
    - Bring washing in and perhaps even put it away
    - Iron clothes for work for tomorrow
    - Have signed up for Boots points card - need to send the forms off
    - Got a free tote bag with some free goodies while make up shopping

Doesn't hurt to spend once in a while Marru and i bet you look and feel fantastic and so you should!

Pips mum, am glad things are becoming better for you and there is light at the end of the tunnel, must be awful feeling stressed a lot of the time and hopefully this has taken some of the pressure off for you.

Off to book £5 tickets for shakespeare globe theatre now for me and my friend.

Plus her and her OH have booked in for their massage treatments. I regularly treat her OH, who raves to just about everyone about how better his shoulders are after i have treated him! So as they often say, as one door closes another one opens!!

Forty? I can hardly remember it, seems so long ago!

I do remember it felt quite bad at the time though, so well done you for fighting the negative feelings! After 40, I haven't given a damn to be honest :rotfl:

My eldest DS is now 35 :eek: Where does the time go??

    Hi Andan

She also suggested I might need to see an Osteopath for my posture and a possible issue with my hip. All I can see is high costs but the Sports Centre at my work has a good complementary therapy team and very good prices. In some cases about 40% cheaper!

    Hi everyone!
Urg, may i suggest NHS physiotherapy for posture and possible hip prob (no guesses what my occupation is?) most hopsitals allow you to self refer without seeing your GP and obviously it wont cost you!

hope everyone is ok, loving the dog stories, altho not sure about the dead rabbit scenario.
plucked up courage to speak to OH about geting a dog and i was told no no no no!!

looks like i will have my work cut out on changing his mind, i even picked a good moment when he is in a really good mood as he was off to watch ac/dc in concert!

not sure if this could count as a NSD as i had to visit somewhere as part of my work and had to pay for parking which with a receipt i could claim back, but the machine didnt give me a receipt so have paid £1.20 other than that i havent spent anything!!!

anyhow better go bed, busy day tomo!!

Thanks DD - I'll look into that (another thing to do once the exam is over!). I work with a team of physiotherapy academics so may get into contact with them.

Do you have the ticket from the parking - they might accept that as proof that you parked!
