Can anyone tell me where the best place to buy GHD Pro hair straighteners,i can see them on ebay around £80 is that the going rate.? thks
  • i think with GHD you are paying for the name. however if thats what you are after then go for it!!

they have remington wet to straight here for £53.32 with slim or wide plates.

you can get more off these by looking here for boots discount.

i dont think you are paying for the name - more like a quality product - i like em alot!!

i wouldnt buy them from ebay - then you dont have a guarantee

they are £80 here (delivery is £2.50) but maybe wait a while and someone else will give a cheaper website

surely regardless of purchase you have a guarentee with the manufacterer although i imagine shops like argos have slightly better guarentee terms you get what you pay for.
    ummm...
  • ithink ghd are very over rated ... no doubt they are good, but 380-3125 worth of good ... i dont think so
i usually recomend a make called ga:ma cermicia, hairdressers retail them for about £60 and for the money they are excelent, they are the ones we sell in our salon and my wife and daughter use

ghd are good straightners, if ur heart is set on them, just over priced ithink

if buying second hand from ebay i'm not sure if the guarantee will be honured without a stamp from the store purchased from and also a date.

that was just a general guarantee comment as i don't have GHD straightners!

if in doubt ask the seller.

i know you are looking for ghd ones, but in sainsbury's babyliss (usually £24.99) are price marked incorrectly at £14.99 and are at clearance and half that price so are now £7.49! with a 3 yr guarantee...they are pretty hard to beat!
