    but I have hidden the loaf so that no-one notices said lack of bread, thereby preserving my NSD ;)
    oh the lengths we go to,to archive a NSD!!!!

    got 6 collies from the supermarket today for 49c each,
    along with 2 x carrots,parsnips,(3 for €3)
    using 1 collie with car and p with (60% off steak) for babies batch cook for the wk.
    rest of steak is in oven will freeze for family diner another day.
    off the wall question
    what to do with 5 collies...
    do i cook fully and freeze??
    do i Blanche and freeze??
    also have 15 chicken legs,drums and bits (reduced to 3.99) cooking but they have bbq sauce thing on them will they be ok cold for mon and tue????

    or do we have to stuff ourself s silly with chicken for the next 24hrs????

    Re the veg, I would part cook, and freeze. As for the chicken, I would think it is fine for the next couple of days once it is cooked - I would certainly risk it!

    We are having pork chops, roast new potatoes and veg :D

    reasons
    1 crap cooker in last rented house
    2 crap cooker in this rented house
    3 oh dont like pork or lamb
    4 to bloody expensive over here joint for 4 adults with a little left over for butties

    I only buy meat if it is on offer - Tescos seemed to be selling loads on offer last weekend so I stocked up my freezer. Apart from mince which is cheap anyway, I can't remember the last time I paid full price for meat.
