Remembers to take turnips out of pants, as they shorten my height too. Apparently i am 5 foot 3 and a half in the morning Skinty and the only direction i grow in is out...sniffle.

My BMI is in the obese range as i am not at the right height for my weight...but i had my hair cut last week so that should help.

I just used the epilator (all over ), so am hoping to go from obese to underweight :o.

Sorry if thread has moved on, am 3 pages back

Last time I did a 5k with my DD, she did it in 19 minutes - to my 38. (Sorry for the maternal boasting, I can't help myself.)

I very occasionally walk to work, it takes me around 40 minutes. When I mapped it, the distance was less than 2km :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hmmm I'm feeling very inadequate today... I was a marshal at the Edinburgh 10k run. There's nothing like 10,000 fit people running past you to make you feel like you should do a bit more exercise :o. I was out of breath just going up to the meeting area... they all ran 10k!

Oh well... on the plus side I got free food, a free nike "great run" running top (just need to loose 1000 stone so it fits properly :o) and have managed 15,167 steps today according to my pedometer (which I remembered to wear for once!) :j :rotfl:

    Baby steps...

    Shaun,
we moved baby into his own room yest evening

Hope that goes well - we're going to have to do that soon, which will be really odd not having her in the room with us...

Hypno - I'm kinda pleased that you haven't lost any weight (stay with me here) because several years ago, I would swim/cycle/run every day and I didn't lose any weight either. I got fitter, for sure, but didn't budge a lb. People kept telling me that muscle is heavier than fat, but I just wanted to get the weight down to be honest...

The only way I've managed to lose weight has been to cut down on the calories, but that has only managed to get me so far and then I hit a plateau.

    The quest continues!
