Hypno, I posted your sponsorship yesterday so it should get to you today. I hope you start feeling better soon.
Thank you very much! It was sitting there waiting for me when I got home!
I have had this unbelievable tiredness today - so we have resorted to the non-MSE way of eating tonight.....trying out a new takeaway nearby, who deliver for free
I don't remember feeling this tired before when I did the marathon - it is obviously all due to my advancing years! A very early night beckons methinks!! Last night, my student forgot her door key and came home at 2.15am  Needless to say I wasn't too impressed to be woken by knocking on the window at that time.......

Has anyone heard from Shaun
. It's unusual for him not to post.

Strewth - blisters under three toenails  That's GOT to hurt... you poor thing! I don't know what to suggest, other than you reconsider the insanity of applying to run next year.
I'm sure the incident with the student at 2.15am has sharpened the decision making process about what happens after she goes home. If you do need a student, can you not take in an adult attending a language school, or could you not offer Sunday night - Thursday night accommodation for someone working in the area who lives elsewhere?
Have a relaxing evening if you're not already tucked up asleep
I hope Shaun is OK.0 -
Shaun posted after the marathon but I think he is having a tough time. He will post when he can, I'm sure.
Re having another student - my mind is fairly well made up NOT to have one. We are on the books for short term students so we could do that if we needed/wanted, but it would be nice to think we could try and manage without for a bit. It is certainly worth the effort of trying without I think.
Have just spent £36  on dinner - very nice, but not something we will be doing very often! It made a lovely change though.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. A girl at work, a good 'ahem' 10 years younger than Hypo and super fit, took over an hour longer than Hypno to do marathon. She truly does rock :T:T:T:TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
