I will be working on my plan for the second half of the year.......I have so many things I need to do, and I need to work out how to do them, or at least how to do the majority of them in the right order!

    Hi Hypno

I read your thread most days - it moves on so fast - as do you!

Can I ask you about your day of planning. I am really interesting in goal setting etc and am always interested in other people's methods (I can be a real geek!)

The new student has arrived - she is very nice....excellent level of English so language won't be a problem. Potential problem is that she has been on this programme for the past 3 years, and usually stays with the same family, so she has a very definite idea of what she expects.......

.......can she cope with my disorganised chaos that is family life a la hypno though  Time will tell.......

urg - I am a great brainstormer - give me a pad of paper and a pen, and I will be drawing mindmaps like there is no tomorrow!

So, my method of doing things is by quite "organic" listing :rotfl:It seems to work in that I eventually get done the things that need to get done, and the things that can wait another day without causing loss of life or limb, usually do!

Morning! Banking done - child benefit has gone in, so I have moved a bit of money around, and sneaked £10 out as an extra loan payment :o No other "extra" money about today - I have to pay my dooyoo cheque in, but I am not going to work today so that will have to wait until tomorrow.

Another 10p on the scratchies.....slowly slowly!

Hope you all have a good day.....I hope to be quite productive today with my planning/number crunching/a bit of tidying etc......but I also really need a bit of a catch up day as I am so tired, so I must factor that in along the way somewhere.

I am at home today, shaun, so no one will catch me cat napping anyway - they are all at school/work.

My "to do" list, is quite daunting, so therefore too long to post on here :o There is no reason, though, why it shouldn't all get done successfully if I put my mind to it. That said, I am having another coffee and am still in my dressing gown

I am going to work on the "1 hour on/1 hour off" idea I think - an hour of stuff that involves "doing things" eg housework, going to the bottle bank, followed by an hour of online/laptop based stuff - letters that need printing, dooyoo reviews that could be written, number crunching (obviously including MSE time).

If I do that until the kids finish school, I should get a reasonable amount done. Then I can do dinner, before heading to a meeting about the China trip. The meeting is about an hour's drive away at one of the other schools taking part, so is a bit of a pain, but hopefully I can get a lift in the school minibus, thereby saving petrol money......

I think that the truth is, that in Hypnoland, there is no such thing as a day off!! The alarm clock is always set for 6......or earlier :o

I've made a good start on my list - I will get it done, I will, I will (even the sock pile!!) :rotfl:
