maybe it will transform into something nicer??

    I can but hope.......

I have just rattled off another script though, so I mustn't feel too bad about not doing the sock pile just yet.......

I am obviously in the "script writing" mood, so must sieze the moment while I can otherwise I will be desperately scrabbling around for inspiration at the last minute again next week.......

Have people been taking socks from the pile as they run out - or do you all have so many socks you haven't missed them?! ;)

Well, I constantly hear cries of "I need more socks" to which my normal response is "go and look in the dining room then"......but I suspect that actually everyone has plenty of socks, they just can't be bothered to look.

I will have sorted the pile out and probably just put most of it in a bin bag before the end of the day though.....it is starting to annoy me, and even if they are taking socks from the pile, they will only be taking them from the top......so at least 90% can go without being missed, surely!!

One is here for three weeks......the other is here for two. Both go home on the same day.

Another script has been done.....that's three done today, so not bad.....

And the sock pile has been demolished. I have paired so many socks that no-one need look for any more socks until the rest of the year I reckon :rotfl:

Just enough time for a quick coffee before I collect DD and go and find a photo-booth for her visa-photo for China that we need to take with us to the meeting tonight.......

It is a shame my alarm went off this morning...........:o

    Another caffeine-fuelled day methinks!!

20p on the scratchie.......but no surprise money credited to my bank accounts......never mind.....it might happen one day

We went to a meeting last night about DD's trip to China - needless to say, she is now very very excited about it all. We have paid the deposit of £200 plus the fee for the visa, and have until the middle of September to find the balance - so a summer of ebaying and carbooting is ahead of us I think! DD is putting all her paper round money towards it as well, so that helps......I was grateful that they didn't ask for it all before the end of term - that might have been just a little too difficult :o

Anyway....hope you all have a good day!

Morning - sounds like another busy time ahead in the Hypno household. China sounds fantastic. The school my two went to is linked with a Chinese school and this year will be the secnd year they have run a trip - I keep asking if any Governors can go (I'm a parent Governor) but no luck so far!

Checked all online banking - Barlcays have suddenly added mortgage and reserve loan to "At a Glance "- but can;t acces it or transfer money directlly to it ...... why not ????

Not much going on here - got 100 more cakes to make and the same in scones but am running out of freezer space!

    Have a good day!

haha! I have plenty of things that still need to be tackled......but I am making steps in the right direction!!

DD is one of 24 going from 4 schools in the county - they are then going to 4 separate schools in the same city in China, where they will team up with 24 chinese high school students. They will all then be teaching primary school age children "Tag Rugby" and setting up a tournament between the 4 primary schools - it sounds like a really good trip, although facilities are "basic" to say the least, the schools seem to work really well together, and the kids from both sides love it!

The best tip she came away with last night though was "don't ask what it is until you've eaten it" :rotfl:
