Or that annoying one with the boxes - a guy at our work won £12k last week on that, and it requires no skill whatsoever.

Morning! Good news from Hypno *and* Shaun, excellent! Good news from me too, even if I couldn't get enough sleep (will have nap later on, woo hoo). Waiting for Godot was ***great***! It was funny too. When I got back to my town, I walked along the beach before I went home, it was lovely, I got the best of the evening sun. Going to potter all day, a little bit of non-strenuous gardening probably, and get back into it all tomorrow.

I've decided to stop Sky before the next payment comes out towards the end of the month, I hardly use it, so what I *am* doing is taping lots of bits that I do like - at the moment sky channel 275 is calling, lots of alternative type programmes like you get on bought DVDs - pilates, yoga, dance classes, all sorts of things. I have some blank DVDs to use, so its all good. I *will* be fit, one day.

Hope everyone has a good day - Hypno, enjoy that bacon butty!

Bacon butty? Who mentioned bacon butties? I hear the siren call of the frying pan........Morning all, what a cracker of a day it looks, lots of chilled out pottering today (after a teensy bit of ironing first).
The chickypoodles are now laying eggs most days (started about a week ago). Unfortunately our white Sussex hen died about ten days ago, just went off her food and became lethargic over two days. No idea what the cause, OH emailed Omlet website and reply was that often chickens have weak hearts or underlying medical problems that they hide so as not to be picked on by other chickens. At least she had a fabulous life for the six weeks we had her. The surviving chicken, Rocky, was fine. We went out the day after the death and got another chicken so Rocky wouldn't pine (chickens are sociable creatures and it's cruel just to keep one on its own) - this one is a Lohmann Brown and she settled in straight away. So we now have Rocky and Lou who are the queens of the garden and they both lay light brown eggs most days.
Good job because finances are tight (payday in just under 2 weeks) so freebie eggs very welcome.

Bullying is horrible - this lad really needs sorting out before he grows into the kind of individual who makes other people's lives a misery. Hope that you can get action taken Hypno, either by the school, the Police, or both. Is it worth contacting other parents whose kids have had problems at all and see if you can launch a combined attack on the school from all sides? If enough parents re insisting there is a problem it will be harder for them to ignore.

Add another pat on the back from me - brilliant progress so far. :j:T

hi guys! Back home after a long weekend!

We stayed with friends last night which was really nice and relaxing - v. sociable. It was also only 20 mins from the ski race.....so not such an early start this morning.

The day has been hot, but nice. DS got a podium, so he was happy. We all caught the sun, and I caught up with P for a couple of hours so that was lovely, and much overdue!

I bought a skirt for DD's birthday so spent £10.75 there - but that is all I need to spend on her birthday, so not bad.

Food/coffee/drink wise, we stopped at Tesco on the way and bought crisps, pies, etc which kept the cost down, and I took my flask. Because it was so hot though, we found ourselves drinking more than we had taken with us, so bought several cans of fizzy during the day - but the alternative was to risk dehydration, so unavoidable really (and they were cold, so that helped). But foodwise etc we spent less than the £20 that I had taken with us, so that is all good.

I got paid £2.50 for doing DS extra paper-round on Monday........will add it to the pot!

I will try and do a dooyoo review this evening....but my brain may not be that awake!

Hope you have all had a good weekend and have enjoyed the sunshine!
